6:3Dá bhrí sin, deartháireacha, cuardaigh eadraibh féin seachtar fear na ndeagh-fhianais, líonadh leis an Spiorad Naomh agus leis an eagna, is féidir linn a cheapadh ar an obair seo.

6:16Ansin, nuair a tháinig tráthnóna, his disciples descended to the sea.

6:19Agus mar sin, when they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the boat, and they were afraid.
6:20Ach dúirt sé leo: “It is I. Do not be afraid.”
6:21Dá bhrí sin, they were willing to receive him into the boat. But immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 34-42

5:34Ach duine sa chómhairle, Fairisíneach darbh ainm Gamaliel, múinteoir an dlí a bhfuil onóir ag na daoine go léir air, d'eirigh suas agus d'orduigh na fir a chur amach ar feadh tamaill bhig.
5:35Agus a dubhairt sé ríu: “Fir Iosrael, ba chóir duit a bheith cúramach i do intinn faoi na fir.
5:36Le haghaidh roimh na laethanta seo, Chuaigh Theudas chun tosaigh, ag dearbhú gur duine é féin é, agus líon fear, timpeall ceithre chéad, isteach leis. Ach maraíodh é, agus scaipeadh gach a chreid ann, agus laghdaíodh iad go dtí rud ar bith.
5:37Tar éis an ceann seo, Chuaigh Iúdás an Gailíl ar aghaidh, i laethanta an rollaithe, agus chuaidh sé an sluagh chuige féin. Ach fuair sé bás freisin, agus iad go léir, an oiread agus a chuaigh i dteannta leis, bhí scaipthe.
5:38Agus anois mar sin, deirim libh, tarraingt siar ó na fir seo agus iad a fhágáil leo féin. Oir más ó dhaoine an chomhairle nó an obair seo, beidh sé briste.
5:39Ach go fírinneach, más ó Dhia é, ní bheidh tú in ann é a bhriseadh, agus b’fhéidir go bhfaighfí gur throid tú in aghaidh Dé.” Agus d'aontaigh siad leis.
5:40Agus ag glaoch sna hAspail, tar éis iad a bhualadh, thug siad rabhadh dóibh gan labhairt ar chor ar bith in ainm Íosa. Agus do dhíbir siad iad.
5:41Agus go deimhin, chuadar amach as láthair na comhairle, ag lúcháir gur measadh gurbh fhiú maslaí a fhulaingt ar son ainm Íosa.
5:42Agus gach lá, sa teampall agus i measc na dtithe, níor scoir siad de theagasc agus de shoiscéalaíocht Íosa Críost.

The Holy Gospel According to John 6: 1-15

6:1Tar éis na rudaí seo, Jesus traveled across the sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
6:2And a great multitude was following him, for they saw the signs that he was accomplishing toward those who were infirm.
6:3Dá bhrí sin, Jesus went onto a mountain, and he sat down there with his disciples.
6:4Now the Passover, the feast day of the Jews, bhí in aice.
6:5Agus mar sin, when Jesus had lifted up his eyes and had seen that a very great multitude came to him, he said to Philip, “From where should we buy bread, so that these may eat?”
6:6But he said this to test him. For he himself knew what he would do.
6:7Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii of bread would not be sufficient for each of them to receive even a little.”
6:8One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, a dúirt sé leis:
6:9“There is a certain boy here, who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are these among so many?”
6:10Then Jesus said, “Have the men sit down to eat.” Now, there was much grass in that place. And so the men, in number about five thousand, sat down to eat.
6:11Dá bhrí sin, Jesus took the bread, and when he had given thanks, he distributed it to those who were sitting down to eat; similarly also, from the fish, as much as they wanted.
6:12Ansin, when they were filled, a dúirt sé lena dheisceabail, “Gather the fragments that are left over, lest they be lost.”
6:13And so they gathered, and they filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which were left over from those who had eaten.
6:14Dá bhrí sin, those men, when they had seen that Jesus had accomplished a sign, dúirt siad, "Go fírinneach, this one is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
6:15Agus mar sin, when he realized that they were going to come and take him away and make him king, Jesus fled back to the mountain, by himself alone.

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 27-33

5:27Agus nuair a thug siad leo, sheasadar os comhair na comhairle iad. Agus chuir an t-ardsagart ceist orthu,
5:28agus dúirt: “Ordaimid go láidir duit gan teagasc faoin ainm seo. Chun behold, líon tú Iarúsailéim le do theagasc, agus is mian leat fuil an fhir seo a thabhairt orainn.”
5:29Ach d'fhreagair Peadar agus na hAspail ag rá: “Is gá géilleadh do Dhia, níos mó ná fir.
5:30D’ardaigh Dia ár n-aithreacha Íosa suas, a chuir tú chun báis trína chrochadh ar chrann.
5:31Is é an té d'árduigh Dia ar a láimh dheis mar Riathóir agus Slánaitheoir, d'fhonn aithrí agus maithe na bpeacaí a ofráil d'Iosrael.
5:32Agus is finnéithe sinn ar na rudaí seo, leis an Spiorad Naomh, a thug Dia do gach duine atá géilliúil dó.”
5:33Nuair a bhí na rudaí seo cloiste acu, bhí siad gortaithe go domhain, agus bhí rún acu iad a chur chun báis.

    Soiscéal

The Holy Gospel According to John 3: 31-36

3:31He who comes from above, is above everything. He who is from below, is of the earth, and he speaks about the earth. He who comes from heaven is above everything.
3:32And what he has seen and heard, about this he testifies. And no one accepts his testimony.
3:33Whoever has accepted his testimony has certified that God is truthful.
3:34For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God. For God does not give the Spirit by measure.
3:35The Father loves the Son, and he has given everything into his hand.
3:36Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But whoever is unbelieving toward the Son shall not see life; instead the wrath of God remains upon him.”
