The Acts of the Apostles 5: 34-42

5:34	ግን አንድ ሰው ምክር ቤት ውስጥ, ገማልያል የሚባል ፈሪሳዊ ነበረ, በሕዝብ ሁሉ የተከበረ የሕግ መምህር, ተነሣና ሰዎቹን ለአጭር ጊዜ ወደ ውጭ እንዲወጡ አዘዘ.

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 27-33

5:27	ባመጡአቸውም ጊዜ, they stood them before the council. And the high priest questioned them,
5:28	በማለት ተናግሯል።: “We strongly order you not to teach in this name. እነሆ, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and you wish to bring the blood of this man upon us.”
5:29	But Peter and the Apostles responded by saying: “It is necessary to obey God, more so than men.
5:30	The God of our fathers has raised up Jesus, whom you put to death by hanging him on a tree.
5:31	It is he whom God has exalted at his right hand as Ruler and Savior, so as to offer repentance and the remission of sins to Israel.
5:32	And we are witnesses of these things, with the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to all who are obedient to him.”
5:33	When they had heard these things, they were deeply wounded, and they were planning to put them to death.

The Holy Gospel According to John 3: 31-36

3:31	He who comes from above, is above everything. He who is from below, is of the earth, and he speaks about the earth. He who comes from heaven is above everything.
3:32	And what he has seen and heard, about this he testifies. And no one accepts his testimony.
3:33	Whoever has accepted his testimony has certified that God is truthful.
3:34	For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God. For God does not give the Spirit by measure.
3:35	The Father loves the Son, and he has given everything into his hand.
3:36	Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But whoever is unbelieving toward the Son shall not see life; instead the wrath of God remains upon him.”

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 17-26

5:17	Then the high priest and all those who were with him, ያውና, the heretical sect of the Sadducees, rose up and were filled with jealousy.
5:18	And they laid hands on the Apostles, and they placed them in the common prison.
5:19	But in the night, an Angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison and led them out, እያለ ነው።,
5:20	“Go and stand in the temple, speaking to the people all these words of life.”
5:21	And when they had heard this, they entered the temple at first light, and they were teaching. Then the high priest, ከእርሱም ጋር የነበሩት, ቀረበ, and they called together the council and all the elders of the sons of Israel. And they sent to the prison to have them brought.
5:22	But when the attendants had arrived, እና, upon opening the prison, had not found them, they returned and reported to them,

ቅዱስ ወንጌል እንደ ዮሐንስ 3: 16-21

3:16	እግዚአብሔር አንድያ ልጁን እስኪሰጥ ድረስ ዓለሙን እንዲሁ ወዶአልና።, በእርሱ የሚያምኑ ሁሉ እንዳይጠፉ, ግን የዘላለም ሕይወት ሊኖረው ይችላል።.
3:17	እግዚአብሔር ልጁን ወደ ዓለም አልላከውምና።, በዓለም ላይ ለመፍረድ, ነገር ግን ዓለም በእርሱ እንዲድን ነው።.
3:18	በእርሱ የሚያምን አይፈረድበትም።. ያላመነ ግን አስቀድሞ ተፈርዶበታል።, በእግዚአብሔር አንድያ ልጅ ስም ስለማያምን ነው።.
3:19	And this is the judgment: that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness more than light. For their works were evil.
3:20	For everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not go toward the Light, so that his works may not be corrected.
3:21	But whoever acts in truth goes toward the Light, so that his works may be manifested, because they have been accomplished in God.”
