اشعياء 58: 7- 10
| 58:7 | اكسر خبزك مع الجائع, وادخل المعوزين والمشردين إلى منزلك. عندما ترى شخصًا عارياً, غطيه, ولا تحتقروا لحمكم. |
| 58:8 | ثم ينفجر نورك مثل الصباح, وستتحسن صحتك بسرعة, ويذهب عدلك أمام وجهك, فيجمعكم مجد الرب. |
| 58:9 | ثم سوف تتصل, فيصغي الرب; سوف تصرخ, وسيقول, "هنا أنا,"إذا نزعت السلاسل من وسطك, وتوقف عن توجيه إصبعك والتحدث بما لا ينفع. |
| 58:10 | عندما تفرغ حياتك من أجل الجياع, وأنت ترضي النفس المنكوبة, ثم يرتفع نورك في الظلام, ويكون ظلامك مثل الظهيرة. |
كورنثوس الأولى 2: 1- 5
| 2:1 | و حينئذ, الإخوة, when I came to you, announcing to you the testimony of Christ, I did not bring exalted words or lofty wisdom. |
| 2:2 | For I did not judge myself to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. |
| 2:3 | And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and with much trembling. |
| 2:4 | And my words and preaching were not the persuasive words of human wisdom, but were a manifestation of the Spirit and of virtue, |
| 2:5 | so that your faith would not be based on the wisdom of men, but on the virtue of God. |
ماثيو 5: 13- 16
| 5:13 | You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its saltiness, with what will it be salted? It is no longer useful at all, except to be cast out and trampled under by men. |
| 5:14 | You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. |
| 5:15 | And they do not light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that it may shine to all who are in the house. |
| 5:16 | وماذا بعد, let your light shine in the sight of men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father, من في الجنة. |
