Atti 6: 1- 7

6:1 In quelli ghjorni, as the number of disciples was increasing, there occurred a murmuring of the Greeks against the Hebrews, because their widows were treated with disdain in the daily ministration.
6:2 And so the twelve, calling together the multitude of the disciples, disse: “It is not fair for us to leave behind the Word of God to serve at tables also.
6:3 Dunque, fratelli, search among yourselves for seven men of good testimony, filled with the Holy Spirit and with wisdom, whom we may appoint over this work.
6:4 Eppuru veramente, we will be continually in prayer and in the ministry of the Word.”
6:5 And the plan pleased the entire multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man filled with faith and with the Holy Spirit, and Philip and Prochorus and Nicanor and Timon and Parmenas and Nicolas, a new arrival from Antioch.
6:6 These they set before the sight of the Apostles, and while praying, they imposed hands on them.
6:7 And the Word of the Lord was increasing, and the number of disciples in Jerusalem was multiplied exceedingly. And even a large group of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Prima Petru 2: 4- 9

2:4 And approaching him as if he were a living stone, rejected by men, certamenti, but elect and honored by God,
2:5 be also yourselves like living stones, built upon him, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, so as to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
2:6 Per via di questu, Scripture asserts: "Eccu, I am setting in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious. And whoever will have believed in him will not be confounded.”
2:7 Dunque, to you who believe, he is honor. But to those who do not believe, the stone which the builders have rejected, the same has been made into the head of the corner,
2:8 and a stone of offense, and a rock of scandal, to those who are offended by the Word; neither do they believe, though they also have been built upon him.
2:9 But you are a chosen generation, un sacerdòziu reale, nazione santa, an acquired people, so that you may announce the virtues of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Ghjuvanni 14: 1- 12

14:1 “Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe in me also.
14:2 In my Father’s house, there are many dwelling places. If there were not, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will return again, and then I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be.
14:4 And you know where I am going. And you know the way.”
14:5 Thomas said to him, "Signore, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
14:6 Ghjesù li disse: “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
14:7 S'è tù mi avia cunnisciutu, Certamente tu avissi ancu cunnisciutu u mo Babbu. È da avà, lu cunnosci, è l'avete vistu".
14:8 Filippu li disse, "Signore, rivela u Babbu à noi, è ci hè abbastanza ".
14:9 Ghjesù li disse: "Sò cun voi per tantu tempu, è ùn m'avete micca cunnisciutu? Filippu, chi mi vede, vede ancu u Babbu. Cumu pudete dì, 'Revelà u Babbu à noi?’
14:10 Ùn credi micca chì sò in u Babbu è u Babbu hè in mè? E parolle chì vi dicu, Ùn parlu micca da mè stessu. Ma u Babbu dimora in mè, ellu faci sti travagli.
14:11 Ùn credi micca chì sò in u Babbu è u Babbu hè in mè?
14:12 O sinnò, crede per via di sti stessi travagli. Amen, amen, vi dicu, quellu chì crede in mè, farà ancu l'opere ch'e aghju fattu. È cose più grande chè queste farà, perchè ando à u Babbu.
