ch 11 Matthew

Matthew 11

11:1 En it barde, dat, when Jesus had completed instructing his twelve disciples, he went away from there in order to teach and to preach in their cities.
11:2 Now when John had heard, in prison, about the works of Christ, sending two of his disciples, Hy sei tsjin him,
11:3 “Are you he who is to come, or should we expect another?"
11:4 en Jezus, responding, sei tsjin harren: “Go and report to John what you have heard and seen.
11:5 The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, the poor are evangelized.
11:6 And blessed is he who has found no offense in me.”
11:7 Dan, after they departed, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out to the desert to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
11:8 So what did you go out to see? A man in soft garments? behold, those who are clothed in soft garments are in the houses of kings.
11:9 Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Ja, Ik fertel dy, and more than a prophet.
11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written: 'Sjoch, I send my Angel before your face, who shall prepare your way before you.’
11:11 Wiswier siz ik jimme, ûnder dyjingen út frouljue berne, dêr hat ûntstien gjinien grutter as Johannes de Doper. Dochs de minste yn it keninkryk der himelen is greater as hy.
It is as bern sitte yn 'e merk,
11:17 wa, calling út nei harren maten, sizze: 'Wy spile muzyk foar jim, en do net dûnsen. we makke in kleiliet, en do net rouje. '
11:18 Hwent Johannes is kommen, net itende en net drinkende;; en hja sizze, 'Hy hat in kweageast.'
11:19 De Minskesoan kommen itende en drinkende; en hja sizze, 'Sjoch, in man dy't yt voraciously en wa drinkt wyn, in freon fan tolgearders en sûnders. 'Mar wysheid wurdt rjochtfeardige troch har soannen. "
11:20 Then he began to rebuke the cities in which many of his miracles were accomplished, for they still had not repented.
11:21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Wee jimme, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in haircloth and ashes.
11:22 yet echt, Ik sis tsjin dy, Tyre and Sidon shall be forgiven more than you, on the day of judgment.
11:23 En do, Capernaum, would you be exalted all the way to heaven? You shall descend all the way to Hell. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, perhaps it would have remained, sels oant hjoed de dei.
11:24 yet echt, Ik sis tsjin dy, that the land of Sodom shall be forgiven more than you, on the day of judgment.”
11:27 Alle dingen binne oerlevere oan my by myn Heit. En nimmen wit de Soan útsein de Heit, noch hat immen kenne de Heit útsein de Soan, en dy oan wa't de Soan is ree om te reveal him.
11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and have been burdened, and I will refresh you.
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
11:30 For my yoke is sweet and my burden is light.”
