1:3 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: For three wicked deeds of Damascus, agus ar feadh ceithre, I will not convert it, in so far as they have threshed Gilead into iron wagons.
1:4 And I will send fire onto the house of Hazael, and it will devour the houses of Ben-hadad.

1:9 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: For three wicked deeds of Tyre, agus ar feadh ceithre, I will not convert it, in so far as they have completed an excellent captivity in Idumea and have not considered the bond among brothers.
1:10 And I will send a fire onto the wall of Tyre, and it will devour its buildings.
1:11 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: For three wicked deeds of Edom, agus ar feadh ceithre, Ní bheidh mé a thiontú air, in so far as he has been pursuing his brother with the sword and has outraged his brother’s compassion, and he has gone beyond his anger and has held onto his indignation until the end.

Amos 2

2:1 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: For three wicked deeds of Moab, agus ar feadh ceithre, Ní bheidh mé a thiontú air, in so far as he has burned the bones of the king of Idumea, all the way to ashes.
2:2 And I will send a fire onto Moab, and it will devour the buildings of Kerioth. And Moab will die with a noise, with the blare of a trumpet.
2:3 And I will destroy the judge in their midst, and I will execute all his leaders with him, a deir an Tiarna.
2:4 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: For three wicked deeds of Judah, agus ar feadh ceithre, Ní bheidh mé a thiontú air, in so far as he has rejected the law of the Lord and has not kept his commandments. For their idols, which their fathers followed, have deceived them.
2:5 And I will send a fire onto Judah, and it will devour the buildings of Jerusalem.
2:6 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: Ar feadh trí gníomhais ghránna Iosrael, agus ar feadh ceithre, Ní bheidh mé a thiontú air, a mhéid a mbeidh dhíol sé an díreach ar airgead agus na mbocht do bhróga.
2:7 meileann siad ceannairí na mbocht isteach sa deannach an domhain, agus atreorú siad ar an mbealach na humble. Agus an mac, chomh maith le a athair, go bhfuil siad imithe leis an cailín céanna, ionas go mbeidh siad outrage mo ainm naofa.
2:8 Agus tá siad lain ar baill éadaigh a glacadh i ngeall in aice leis gach altóir. Agus d'ól siad an fíon na damned sa teach ar a n-Dia.
2:9 Ach díothú ná mé na hAmóraigh sula n-aghaidh, Bhí a airde cosúil leis an airde na Céadrais, agus bhí a neart cosúil leis an dair. Agus brúite mé a torthaí ó thuas agus a chuid fréamhacha thíos.
2:10 Is mé a chuir faoi deara tú a ascend ó an talamh na hÉigipte, agus i gceannas mé tú i wilderness le daichead bliain, ionas go dtiocfadh leat a bhfuil an talamh ar an Amorite.
2:11 And I stirred up prophets from your sons, and Nazirites from your young men. Is it not so, clann Iosrael, a deir an Tiarna?
2:12 Yet you would offer wine to the Nazirites, and you would command the prophets, ag rá: “Do not prophesy.”
2:13 Behold, Beidh mé creak faoi tú, díreach mar creaks vaigín atá ualaithe le féar.
2:14 Agus beidh eitilt crith as an tapa, agus ní bheidh an láidir a choimeád ar bun a neart, agus ní bheidh an sláintiúil shábháil ar a shaol.
2:15 Agus ceann a bhfuil ní bheidh an bogha seasamh daingean, agus ní bheidh an t-tapa na coise a shábháil, agus ní bheidh an marcach ar an capall shábháil ar a shaol.
2:16 Agus beidh an Stout na croí i measc na láidir teitheadh uaidh naked sa lá, a deir an Tiarna.

Amos 3

3:1 Éist leis an focal a bhfuil an Tiarna labhairt fút, clann Iosrael, maidir leis an teaghlach ar fad a thug mé amach as an talamh na hÉigipte, ag rá:
3:2 Mé ar a dtugtar ach tú sa chaoi, as gach teaghlach an domhain. Ar an gcúis, Beidh mé cuairt ar tú gach ceann de do iniquities.
3:3 Beidh dhá siúlóid le chéile, ach amháin má tá siad aontaithe a dhéanamh?
3:4 An mbeidh a roar leon san fhoraois, ach amháin má tá sé chreiche? An mbeidh an leon caoin óg amach as a nead, mura mbeidh glactha aige rud éigin?
3:5 An mbeidh éan titim isteach i snare ar an talamh, mura bhfuil aon éan-catcher? An mbeidh snare a thógáil amach as an talamh, sula mbeidh sé gafa rud éigin?
3:6 An mbeidh an trumpa fuaime i gcathair, agus na daoine nach bhfuil a bheith frightened? An mbeidh tubaiste i gcathair, nach bhfuil an Tiarna atá déanta?
3:7 I gcás nach bhfuil an Tiarna Dia a chomhlíonadh a chuid focal, mura rud é fios gur léig a rún chuid seirbhíseach na fáithe.
3:8 Beidh an leon roar, a Ní bheidh eagla? Tá an Tiarna Dia ag labhairt, a Ní bheidh prophesy?
3:9 Let it be heard in the buildings of Ashdod and in the buildings of the land of Egypt, agus a rá: Gather together across the mountains of Samaria, and see the many absurdities in its midst, and those who are suffering false accusations in its inner most places.
3:10 And they do not know how to make it right, a deir an Tiarna, storing up iniquity and plunder in their buildings.
3:11 Mar gheall ar na rudaí seo, dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna Dia: The land will be encircled and squeezed together. And your strength will be drawn away from you, and your buildings will be torn apart.
3:12 Dá bhrí sin, a deir an Tiarna: Just as if a shepherd had rescued two legs from the mouth of a lion, or the tip of an ear, so also will the sons of Israel be rescued, who dwell in the sick bed of Samaria, and in the cot of Damascus.
3:13 Listen and give testimony in the house of Jacob, says the Lord God of hosts:
3:14 that in the day, when I will begin to visit the betrayals of Israel, I will visit upon him and upon the altars of Bethel. And the horns of the altars will be cut off and will fall to the ground.
3:15 And I will strike the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory will perish, and many buildings will be torn apart, a deir an Tiarna.

Amos 4

4:1 Listen to this word, you fat cows that are on the mountain of Samaria, you who make false accusations against the destitute and crush the poor, who say to your nobles, “Bring, and we will drink.”
4:2 The Lord God has sworn in his holiness: behold, the days that will overcome you and that will impale you on poles, and that will place what remains of you in boiling pots.
4:3 And you will go out through the breaches, one over another, and you will be cast out into Harmon, a deir an Tiarna.
4:4 Come to Bethel and behave impiously, to Gilgal and increase betrayals. And bring daybreak to your victims, your tithes in three days.
4:5 And offer a sacrifice of praise with leaven. And call for voluntary oblations, and announce it. For such is your will, clann Iosrael, a deir an Tiarna Dia.
4:6 Dá bhrí sin,, mar gheall ar seo, I have given you dull teeth in every one of your cities, and a lack of bread in all your places. And you have not been turned back towards me, a deir an Tiarna.
4:7 Dá bhrí sin,, I have withheld the rains from you, when there were still three months left until the harvest. And I rained on one city, and I did not rain on another city; one part was rained on, and the part on which I did not rain, dried out.
4:8 And two and three cities went to one city, in order to drink water, and they were not satisfied. Agus ní raibh tú ar ais chugam, a deir an Tiarna.
4:9 I struck you with a burning wind and with yellowing; the caterpillar has consumed your many gardens and your vineyards, your olive groves and your fig groves. Agus ní raibh tú ar ais chugam, a deir an Tiarna.
4:10 I sent death to you by way of Egypt; I struck your youths with the sword, even bringing captivity to your horses. And I made the stench of your camp ascend into your nostrils. Agus ní raibh tú ar ais chugam, a deir an Tiarna.
4:11 chealaigh mé tú, díreach mar a dhiúltaigh Dia Sodom agus Gomorrah, agus bhí tú cosúil le ember urghabhadh ón tine. Agus ní raibh tú ar ais chugam, a deir an Tiarna.
4:12 Mar gheall ar seo, Déanfaidh mé na nithe seo libh, Israel. Ach tar éis a rinne mé na nithe seo libh, Israel, bheith ullamh chun freastal ar do Dhia.
4:13 Le haghaidh behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind and announces his speech to man, who makes the morning mist and steps over the heights of the earth: the Lord God of hosts is his name.

Amos 5

5:1 Listen to this word, which I lift over you in lamentation. The house of Israel has fallen, and it will no longer rise again.
5:2 The virgin of Israel has been thrown onto her land, there is no one who can raise her up.
5:3 I gcás mar sin deir an Tiarna Dia: In the city from which a thousand departed, a hundred will remain, and in that from which a hundred departed, ten will remain, in the house of Israel.
5:4 For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek me and you will live.
5:5 But do not be willing to seek Bethel, and do not be willing to enter Gilgal, and you will not cross into Beer-sheba. For Gilgal will be led into captivity, and Bethel will be useless.
5:6 Seek the Lord and live. Seachas sin, the house of Joseph may be destroyed with fire, and it will devour, and there will be no one who can extinguish Bethel.
5:7 You turn judgment into wormwood, and you abandon justice on earth.
5:8 The Maker of Arcturus and Orion, who turns darkness into daybreak and who changes day into night; who calls forth the waters of the sea and who pours them out over the face of the earth: The Lord is his name.
5:9 It is he who smiles destruction on the healthy, and who brings pillaging upon the powerful.
5:10 They held hatred for the one who corrects at the gate, and they have abhorred the one who speaks perfectly.
5:11 Dá bhrí sin,, on his behalf, because you have torn apart the poor and stolen choice prey from him: you will build houses with square stones and you will not dwell in them; you will plant the most delightful vineyards, and you will not drink wine from them.
5:12 For I know your many wicked deeds and the strength of your sins, you enemies of the just, accepting bribes, and depriving the poor at the gate.
5:13 Dá bhrí sin,, the prudent will be silent at that time, for it is an evil time.
5:14 A lorg maith agus ní olc, ionas gur féidir leat do chónaí. Agus beidh an Tiarna Dia na slua bheith in éineacht leat, díreach mar a bhfuil d'iarr tú.
5:15 Is fuath liom olc agus grá maith, agus breithiúnas a bhunú ag an ngeata. B'fhéidir ansin féadfaidh an Tiarna Dia na slua trócaire ar an iarsma de Joseph.
5:16 Dá bhrí sin,, thus says the Lord God of hosts, the Sovereign: In all the streets, there will be wailing. And in every place where they are outdoors, beidh siad ag rá, "Mairg, woe!” And they will call the farmer to mourn, and those who know mourning to lamentation.
5:17 And in all the vineyards there will be wailing. For I will cross through your midst, a deir an Tiarna.
5:18 Woe to those who desire the day of the Lord. What is it to you? The day of the Lord is this: darkness and not light.
5:19 It is as if a man flees from the face of a lion, only to have a bear meet him; nó, he enters a house and leans with his hand against the wall, only to have a snake bite him.
5:20 Will not the day of the Lord be darkness and not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?
5:21 Is fuath liom agus dhiúltaigh do féastaí; agus ní bheidh mé glacadh leis an boladh ó do gatherings.
5:22 Chun má thairiscint duit dom holocausts agus do bronntanais, buafaidh mé iad; agus ní bheidh mé ag breathnú ar an vows do fatness.
5:23 Tóg uaim an fothraim de do na hamhráin, agus ní bheidh mé ag éisteacht leis an Cainticí Mhuire agus Shimeoin de do lir.
5:24 Agus beidh breithiúnas a nochtadh nós uisce, agus ceartais mar a bheadh torrent mighty.
5:25 Was it you who offered victims and sacrifices to me in the desert for forty years, house of Israel?
5:26 And you carried a tabernacle for your Moloch and the image of your idols: the star of your god, which you made for yourselves.
5:27 And I will cause you to go into captivity across Damascus, a deir an Tiarna. The God of hosts is his name.

Amos 6

6:1 Woe to you who have been wealthy in Zion, and to you who have confidence in the mountain of Samaria: aristocrats, heads of the people, who advance with a retinue into the house of Israel.
6:2 Cross over to Calneh and see, and go from there into Hamath the great, and descend into Gath of the Philistines, and to the best kingdoms of these, if their limits are wider than your limits.
6:3 You have been set aside for the day of disaster, and you approach the throne of iniquity.
6:4 You sleep on beds of ivory, and you are lustful on your couches. You devour lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the herd.
6:5 You sing to the sound of stringed instruments; they consider themselves to have the musical abilities of David.
6:6 You drink wine in bowls, and you anoint with the best ointments; and they suffer nothing over the grief of Joseph.
6:7 Mar gheall ar seo, now they will depart at the head of those who go into captivity; and the faction of the lustful will be removed.
6:8 The Lord God has sworn by his own soul, the Lord God of hosts says: I detest the arrogance of Jacob, and I hate his houses, and I will hand over the city with its inhabitants.
6:9 For if there were ten men remaining in one house, even they will die.
6:10 And his closest relative will steal him away and will burn him, so that he may carry the bones out of the house. And he will say to him that is in the inner most rooms of the house, “Now is there any left that still belongs to you?"
6:11 And he will answer, “It is finished.” And he will say to him, “Be silent and do not call to mind the name of the Lord.”
6:12 Le haghaidh behold, the Lord has commanded, and he will strike the greater house with catastrophes, and the lesser house with divisions.
6:13 Can horses gallop across rocks, or is anyone able to plough with gazelles? For you have turned judgment into bitterness and the fruit of justice into wormwood.
6:14 You rejoice in emptiness. Deir tú, “Have we not, by our own strength, taken horns for ourselves?"
6:15 Le haghaidh behold, house of Israel, I will raise up a people over you, says the Lord God of hosts, and they will crush you from the entrance of Hamath all the way to the burning of the desert.

Amos 7

7:1 Na rudaí an Tiarna Dia fios dom. Agus behold, Bunaíodh an locust ag tús an phéacadh le linn an bháisteach deiridh sin, agus behold, an bháisteach deiridh sin tháinig i ndiaidh an thundering an rí.
7:2 Agus tharla sé, nuair a bhí siad ag ithe ar deireadh ar fad an féar sa talamh, a dúirt mé, "A Thiarna Dia, bheith gracious, impím ort. Cé a ardú suas Jacob, le haghaidh bhfuil sé beag?"
7:3 Tá an Tiarna a bhí trócaireach faoi seo. "Ní bheidh sé,"A dúirt an Tiarna.
7:4 Na rudaí an Tiarna Dia fios dom. Agus behold, an Tiarna Dia ar a dtugtar ar bhreithiúnas unto tine, agus devoured sé an abyss iomadúil, agus a chaitear go comhuaineach i ngach treo.
7:5 Agus dúirt mé, "A Thiarna Dia, scoirfidh, impím ort. Cé a ardú suas Jacob, le haghaidh bhfuil sé beag?"
7:6 Tá an Tiarna a bhí trócaireach faoi seo. "Agus fiú nach mbeidh sé seo,"A dúirt an Tiarna Dia.
7:7 Na rudaí an Tiarna le fios dom. Agus behold, an Tiarna a bhí ina seasamh in aice le balla plástráilte, agus ina láimh a bhí lián saor cloiche ar.
7:8 Agus dúirt an Tiarna liom, "Cad é a fheiceann, Amos?"Agus dúirt mé, "Lián A saor cloiche ar." Agus dúirt an Tiarna, "Féuch, Beidh mé ag cuir an lián i lár mo phobal Iosrael. Beidh mé plástair níos mó os a gcionn.
7:9 Agus beidh an airde an idol a leagan, agus beidh na sanctuaries Iosrael a desolate. Agus beidh mé ag ardú suas i gcoinne an teach Iarobám leis an sword. "
7:10 agus Amaiziá, an sagart na Bethel, sheoladh chuig rí Jeroboam Iosrael, ag rá: "Tá Amos éirigh i gcoinne tú i lár an tí ar Iosrael. Níl an talamh in ann a sheasamh go léir a sermons.
7:11 For Amos says this: ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will be taken captive out of their own land.’ ”
7:12 Agus dúirt Amaiziá go Amos, "Tú, seer, dul amach agus teitheadh isteach ar an talamh de Judah, agus itheann arán ann, agus tuar ann.
7:13 Agus i Bethel, ná tuar ar bith níos faide, toisc go bhfuil sé tearmann an rí, agus is é an teach an ríocht. "
7:14 Agus d'fhreagair Amos, agus dúirt sé go Amasias, "Níl mé fáidh, agus níl mé an mac fáidh, ach tá mé herdsman stoitheadh ó chrainn fige fiáin.
7:15 Agus thóg an Tiarna liom, nuair a bhí mé tar éis an tréad, agus an Tiarna dúirt liom, 'Téigh, tuar do mo phobal Iosrael. ' "
7:16 Agus anois, hear the word of the Lord: Deir tú, “You will not prophesy about Israel, and you will not rain your words upon the house of the idol.”
7:17 Because of that, the Lord says this: “Your wife will fornicate in the city, and your sons and your daughters will fall by the sword, and your soil will be measured with a string. And you will die on polluted land, and Israel will be taken into captivity out of their land.”

Amos 8

8:1 These things the Lord has revealed to me. Agus behold, a hook to draw down fruit.
8:2 Agus dúirt sé, "Cad é a fheiceann, Amos?"Agus dúirt mé, “A hook to draw down fruit.” And the Lord said to me, “The end has come for my people Israel. I will no longer pass through them.”
8:3 And the hinges of the temple will creak in that day, a deir an Tiarna Dia. Many will die. Silence will be thrown away in all places.
8:4 Éist seo, tú a chnagadh na mbocht agus a dhéanann siúd a bhfuil gá chun talamh a dhéanamh gan.
8:5 Deir tú, "Nuair a bheidh an chéad lá den mhí a bheith os cionn, ionas gur féidir linn a dhíol ár n-earraí, agus an tsabóid, ionas gur féidir linn a oscailt an grán: ionas gur féidir linn a laghdú an beart, agus méadú ar an praghas, agus ionad scálaí deceitful,
8:6 ionas gur féidir linn acu an dealbh leis an airgead, agus na mbocht do péire bróga, agus féadfaidh sé a dhíol fiú an bruscair an ghráin?"
8:7 Tá an Tiarna faoi mhionn ag an arrogance na Jacob: Ní dhéanfaidh mé dearmad, fiú go dtí deireadh, go léir a n-oibreacha.
8:8 Will not the earth shudder over this, and all its inhabitants mourn, and all rise up like a river, and be cast out, and flow away like the river of Egypt?
8:9 Agus beidh sé sa lá, a deir an Tiarna Dia, go mbeidh an ghrian ag meán lae meath, agus beidh mé faoi deara an domhain a bheith dorcha an lá an tsolais.
8:10 Agus beidh mé ag dul do féastaí i caoineadh, agus gach do hymns i lamentation. Agus beidh mé a chur sackcloth thar gach ceann de do chuid ndroim, agus baldness ar gach ceann. Agus beidh mé ag tosú sé cosúil leis an caoineadh le haghaidh aon mhac-begotten, agus é a chríochnú mar a bheadh an lae searbh.
8:11 Behold, na laethanta pas, a deir an Tiarna, agus beidh mé a sheoladh gorta ar an domhain: Ní gorta aráin, ná an tart le haghaidh uisce, ach le héisteacht an briathar an Tiarna.
8:12 Agus beidh siad ag bogadh fiú ó mhuir go muir, agus ó na uile Thuaidh an mbealach chun an Oirthir. Beidh siad wander timpeall ag iarraidh an focal an Tiarna, agus ní bheidh siad ag teacht ar sé.
8:13 Sa lá sin, beautiful virgins, and young men, will fail because of thirst.
8:14 They swear by the offense of Samaria, agus deir siad, “As your God lives, agus,” and “The way of Beer-sheba lives.” And they will fall, and they will not rise up any more.

Amos 9

9:1 I saw the Lord standing over an altar, agus dúirt sé: “Strike the hinges, and let the lintels be shaken. For there is avarice at the head of them all, and I will execute the very last of them with the sword. There will be no escape for them. They will flee, and he who flees from among them will not be saved.
9:2 If they descend even to the underworld, from there my hand will draw them out; and if they ascend even to the sky, from there will I pull them down.
9:3 And if they were hiding at the top of Carmel, when searching there, I would steal them away, and if they conceal themselves from my eyes in the depths of the sea, I will command the serpent there and he will bite them.
9:4 And if they go into captivity in the sight of their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. And I will set my eyes over them for harm and not for good.”
9:5 And the Lord God of hosts, he touches the earth and it will melt. And all who dwell in it will mourn. And everyone will rise up like a river, and will flow away like the river of Egypt.
9:6 He establishes his ascension into heaven, and he has founded his bundle on the earth. He calls the waters of the ocean, and pours them over the face of the earth. The Lord is his name.
9:7 Sons of Israel, are you not like the sons of the Ethiopians to me, a deir an Tiarna? Did I not cause Israel to rise up out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines out of Cappadocia, and the Syrians out of Cyrene?
9:8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinning kingdom, and I will wipe it from the face of the earth. Though truly, when destroying, I will not wipe away the house of Jacob, a deir an Tiarna.
9:9 Le haghaidh behold, Beidh mé ag ordú, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, as wheat is sifted in a sieve. And not even one small stone will fall to the ground.
9:10 All the sinners of my people will die by the sword. deir siad, “Disaster will not come near us, and it will not overcome us.”
9:11 Sa lá sin, Beidh mé ag ardú suas an tabernacle David, atá tar éis titim. Agus beidh mé a dheisiú ar an sáruithe ina ballaí, agus beidh mé ar ais go a thit. Agus beidh mé a atógáil, díreach mar atá sa lá de antiquity,
9:12 ionas gur féidir go mbeadh na iarsma de Idumea agus na náisiúin, as m'ainm curtha agairt os a gcionn, a deir an Tiarna a mbaineann sé seo.
9:13 Behold, na laethanta pas, a deir an Tiarna, agus beidh an plower overtake an buainteoir, agus beidh an treader na fíonchaora overtake an sower síl. Agus beidh na sléibhte drip sweetness, agus déanfar gach cnoc a chothú.
9:14 Agus beidh mé ag dul ar ais an mbraighdeanas mo phobal Iosrael. Agus beidh siad a atógáil na cathracha tréigthe agus iad inhabit. Agus beidh siad bhfíonghort plandaí agus dí a fíon. Agus beidh siad gairdíní a chruthú agus a itheann a gcuid torthaí.
9:15 Agus beidh mé ag plandaí iad ar a n-ithir féin. Agus beidh mé a thuilleadh root dóibh as a gcuid talún féin, a thug mé dóibh, a deir an Tiarna do Dhia.
