51 Ni ne gurasa mai rai wanda ya sauko daga sama; idan kowa ya ci wannan gurasar, zai rayu har abada; kuma Gurasar da zan bayar domin rayuwar duniya naman jikina ne” (6:47-51; an kara jaddadawa).

Aya 51 ya ƙunshi tabbaci da babu shakka cewa Yesu ba ya magana a alamance, Domin ya bayyana Gurasar da dole ne a ci kamar naman da zai sha wuya ya mutu akan giciye. Don tabbatar da cewa a cikin maganar Jikinsa a cikin wannan nassi yana magana a alamance shine a ce naman da ya sha wahala ya mutu akan giciye alama ce kawai., domin su daya ne!2

“Yaya mutumin nan zai ba mu namansa mu ci?” jama’a suna tambaya (6:52).

Wannan ita ce gurasar da ta sauko daga sama, ba kamar yadda ubanni suka ci suka mutu ba; wanda ya ci wannan gurasa, zai rayu har abada.” (6:53-58; an kara jaddadawa).

Bikin Eucharist shine jigon rayuwar Kiristoci na farko, waɗanda suka “ba da kansu ga koyarwar manzanni da tarayya, ga gutsuttsura biredi da sallah” (Dubi Ayyukan Manzanni 2:42). Ka lura cewa “karɓar burodi da addu’a” na nufin Liturgy.

Hakazalika, Saint Cyprian na Carthage (d. 258) ya rubuta:

Matt. 6:11), domin mu da muke cikin Almasihu da kullum mu karbi Eucharist a matsayin abincin ceto, bazai iya ba, ta hanyar fadawa cikin wani zunubi mai girma sannan kuma kauracewa sadarwa, a hana shi daga Gurasar Sama, kuma a rabu da Jikin Kristi. … Shi da kansa ya gargade mu, yana cewa, “In ba ku ci naman Ɗan Mutum ba, ku sha jininsa, ba za ku sami rai a cikin ku ba" (John 6:54) (Addu'ar Ubangiji 18).
