Lèt Jak

James 1

1:1 James, sèvitè Bondye ak Jezikri, Seyè nou an, bay douz branch fanmi dispèsyon yo, bonjou.
1:2 Frè m yo, lè ou te tonbe nan plizyè eprèv, konsidere tout bagay yon lajwa,
1:3 nou konnen si nou demontre lafwa nou gen pasyans,
1:4 ak pasyans pote yon travay nan pèfeksyon, Konsa, ou ka pafè ak tout antye, mank nan anyen.
1:5 Men, si yon moun pami nou bezwen bon konprann, se pou l' mande Bondye, ki bay tout moun anpil san repwòch, epi yo va ba li.
1:6 Men, li ta dwe mande ak lafwa, pa doute anyen. Paske, moun ki doute se tankou yon vag sou lanmè a, ki van an deplase e li pote ale;
1:7 Lè sa a, yon moun pa ta dwe konsidere ke li ta resevwa anyen nan men Senyè a.
1:9 Kounye a, yon frè ki enb ta dwe glorifye nan egzaltasyon li,
1:10 ak yon moun rich, nan imilyasyon li, paske li pral pase tankou flè zèb la.
1:11 Paske solèy la leve ak yon gwo chalè, epi li seche zèb la, ak flè li te tonbe, ak aparans nan bèlte li te peri. Konsa tou, moun rich la ap cheche, dapre chemen li yo.
1:12 Benediksyon pou moun ki soufri tantasyon an.
1:18 Paske, pa pwòp volonte li, li fè nou grasa Pawòl verite a, pou nou ta ka yon kalite kòmansman nan mitan kreyati li yo.
1:23 Paske, si yon moun koute Pawòl la, men se pa tou yon moun k ap fè sa, li konparab ak yon nonm ki gade nan yon glas sou figi li te fèt la;
1:26 Men, si yon moun konsidere tèt li kòm relijye, men li pa kenbe lang li, men olye sedui pwòp kè l: relijyon yon moun konsa se vo anyen.

James 2

2:1 Frè m yo, nan lafwa gloriye Jezikri, Seyè nou an, pa chwazi montre favoritis anvè moun.
2:2 Paske, si yon moun antre nan asanble ou a ki gen yon bag an lò ak bèl rad, epi si yon pòv te antre tou, nan rad sal,
2:3 epi si nou fè atansyon ak moun ki gen bèl rad la, pou ou di l ', "Ou ka chita nan bon kote sa a,” men ou di pòv la, "Ou kanpe la,” oswa, “Chita anba ban mwen,”
2:4 èske nou pa jije nan tèt nou?, epi èske nou pa vin jij ak panse enjis?
2:5 Frè mwen renmen anpil yo, koute. Eske Bondye pa chwazi pòv yo nan monn sa a pou yo vin rich nan lafwa ak eritye wayòm Bondye te pwomèt moun ki renmen l yo??
2:6 Men, ou derespekte pòv yo.
Men, mwen pral montre nou konfyans mwen nan pa mwayen travay.
2:19 Ou kwè gen yon sèl Bondye. Ou fè byen. Men, demon yo kwè tou, epi yo tranble anpil.
2:25 Menm jan an tou, Rahab, jennès la, was she not justified by works, by receiving the messengers and sending them out through another way?
2:26 Paske, menm jan kò a san lespri a mouri, Konsa tou, lafwa san travay yo mouri.

James 3

3:1 Frè m yo, pa gen anpil nan nou ta dwe chwazi vin pwofesè, konnen ou pral resevwa yon jijman pi sevè.
Konsidere ke yon ti dife ka mete dife nan yon gwo forè.
Lang lan, estasyone nan mitan kò nou an, ka avili tout kò a epi anflame wou krèch nou an, mete yon dife soti nan lanfè.
3:10 Nan menm bouch la soti benediksyon ak madichon. Frè m yo, bagay sa yo pa ta dwe konsa!
3:11 Does a fountain emit, out of the same opening, both sweet and bitter water?
3:12 Frè m yo, can the fig tree yield grapes? Or the vine, figs? Then neither is salt water able to produce fresh water.
3:16 Pou tout kote jalouzi ak diskisyon ye, gen tou enkonstans ak tout travay deprave.

James 4

4:1 Ki kote lagè ak diskisyon nan mitan nou soti?? Èske se pa soti nan sa a: soti nan pwòp dezi ou, ki batay nan manm ou yo?
4:2 Ou anvi, epi ou pa genyen. Ou jalouzi epi ou touye, epi ou pa kapab jwenn. Ou diskite epi ou goumen, epi ou pa genyen, paske ou pa mande.
4:3 Ou mande epi ou pa resevwa, paske ou mande mal, pou ou ka sèvi ak li nan pwòp dezi ou.
4:4 You adulterers! Do you not know that the friendship of this world is hostile to God? Se poutèt sa, whoever has chosen to be a friend of this world has been made into an enemy of God.
4:5 Or do you think that Scripture says in vain: “The spirit which lives within you desires unto envy?”
4:6 But he gives a greater grace. Therefore he says: “God resists the arrogant, but he gives grace to the humble.”
4:7 Se poutèt sa, be subject to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners! And purify your hearts, you duplicitous souls!
4:9 Be afflicted: mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your gladness into sorrow.
4:10 Be humbled in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.
4:11 Frè m yo, do not choose to slander one another. Whoever slanders his brother, or whoever judges his brother, slanders the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.
4:12 There is one lawgiver and one judge. He is able to destroy, and he is able to set free.
4:13 But who are you to judge your neighbor? Konsidere sa, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into that city, and certainly we will spend a year there, and we will do business, and we will make our profit,”
4:14 consider that you do not know what will be tomorrow.
4:15 For what is your life? It is a mist that appears for a brief time, and afterwards will vanish away. So what you ought to say is: “If the Lord wills,” oswa, “If we live,” we will do this or that.
4:16 But now you exult in your arrogance. All such exultation is wicked.
4:17 Se poutèt sa, he who knows that he ought to do a good thing, and does not do it, for him it is a sin.

James 5

5:3 Lò ak ajan ou wouye, ak rouye yo pral yon temwayaj kont ou, epi li pral devore kò nou tankou dife.
5:7 Se poutèt sa, be patient, frè, until the advent of the Lord. Consider that the farmer anticipates the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently, until he receives the early and the late rains.
5:8 Se poutèt sa, you too should be patient and should strengthen your hearts. For the advent of the Lord draws near.
5:9 Frè m yo, do not complain against one another, pou yo pa jije nou. Gade, the judge stands before the door.
5:10 Frè m yo, consider the Prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of departing from evil, of labor, and of patience.
5:11 Consider that we beatify those who have endured. You have heard of the patient suffering of Job. And you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is merciful and compassionate.
5:12 But before all things, frè m yo, do not choose to swear, ni nan syèl la, nor by the earth, nor in any other oath. But let your word ‘Yes’ be yes, and your word ‘No’ be no, so that you may not fall under judgment.
5:13 Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he even-tempered? Let him sing psalms.
5:14 Is anyone ill among you? Let him bring in the priests of the Church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
5:15 And a prayer of faith will save the infirm, and the Lord will alleviate him. And if he has sins, these will be forgiven him.
5:16 Se poutèt sa, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, pou ou ka sove. For the unremitting prayer of a just person prevails over many things.
5:17 Elijah was a mortal man like us, and in prayer he prayed that it would not rain upon the earth. And it did not rain for three years and six months.
5:18 And he prayed again. And the heavens gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
5:19 Frè m yo, if anyone of you strays from the truth, and if someone converts him,
5:20 he ought to know that whoever causes a sinner to be converted from the error of his ways will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
