1:12	Beato l'uomo che soffre la tentazione. Per quando sarà stato dimostrato, riceverà la corona della vita che Dio ha promesso a coloro che lo amano.
1:13	Nessuno dovrebbe dirlo, quando è tentato, che fu tentato da Dio. Perché Dio non attira verso i mali, e lui stesso non tenta nessuno.
1:14	Eppure veramente, ognuno è tentato dai propri desideri, essendo stato sedotto e trascinato via.
1:15	Successivamente, quando il desiderio ha concepito, partorisce il peccato. Eppure davvero peccato, quando è stato consumato, produce la morte.
1:16	E così, non scegliere di andare fuori strada, i miei fratelli più amati.
1:17	Ogni dono eccellente e ogni dono perfetto viene dall'alto, discendente dal Padre delle luci, con cui non c'è cambiamento, né alcuna ombra di alterazione.
1:18	Poiché per sua volontà ci ha prodotti mediante la Parola di verità, affinché potessimo essere una sorta di inizio tra le sue creature.

8:14	And they forgot to take bread. And they did not have any with them in the boat, except one loaf.
8:15	E li ha istruiti, detto: “Consider and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the leaven of Herod.”
8:16	And they discussed this with one another, detto, “For we have no bread.”
8:17	E Gesù, sapendo questo, disse loro: “Why do you consider that it is because you have no bread? Do you not yet know or understand? Do you still have blindness in your heart?
8:18	Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? Do you not remember,
8:19	when I broke the five loves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments you took up?” Gli dissero, “Twelve.”
8:20	“And when the seven loaves were among the four thousand, how many baskets of fragments did you take up?E gli dissero, “Seven.”
8:21	E disse loro, “How is it that you do not yet understand?"
