6:1	In quei giorni, as the number of disciples was increasing, there occurred a murmuring of the Greeks against the Hebrews, because their widows were treated with disdain in the daily ministration.
6:2	And so the twelve, calling together the multitude of the disciples, disse: “It is not fair for us to leave behind the Word of God to serve at tables also.
6:3	Perciò, fratelli, search among yourselves for seven men of good testimony, filled with the Holy Spirit and with wisdom, whom we may appoint over this work.
6:4	Eppure veramente, we will be continually in prayer and in the ministry of the Word.”
6:5	And the plan pleased the entire multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man filled with faith and with the Holy Spirit, and Philip and Prochorus and Nicanor and Timon and Parmenas and Nicolas, a new arrival from Antioch.
6:6	These they set before the sight of the Apostles, and while praying, they imposed hands on them.
6:7	And the Word of the Lord was increasing, and the number of disciples in Jerusalem was multiplied exceedingly. And even a large group of the priests were obedient to the faith.

2:4	E avvicinarsi a lui come se fosse una pietra viva, rifiutato dagli uomini, certamente, ma eletto e onorato da Dio,
2:5	siate anche voi come pietre vive, costruito su di lui, una casa spirituale, un santo sacerdozio, per offrire sacrifici spirituali, gradito a Dio per mezzo di Gesù Cristo.
2:6	A causa di ciò, Scripture asserts: "Ecco, I am setting in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious. And whoever will have believed in him will not be confounded.”
2:7	Perciò, to you who believe, he is honor. But to those who do not believe, the stone which the builders have rejected, the same has been made into the head of the corner,
2:8	and a stone of offense, and a rock of scandal, to those who are offended by the Word; neither do they believe, though they also have been built upon him.
2:9	Ma tu sei una generazione eletta, un sacerdozio reale, una nazione santa, un popolo acquisito, perché annunziate le virtù di Colui che vi ha chiamato dalle tenebre alla sua luce meravigliosa.

14:1	“Non sia turbato il tuo cuore. Credi in Dio. Credi anche in me.
14:2	Nella casa di mio Padre, ci sono molte dimore. Se non ci fossero, Te lo avrei detto. Perché vado a prepararvi un posto.
14:3	E se vado a prepararti un posto, Tornerò di nuovo, e poi ti porterò con me, così dove sono, potresti esserlo anche tu.
14:4	E tu sai dove sto andando. E tu conosci la strada."
14:5	gli disse Tommaso, "Signore, non sappiamo dove stai andando, quindi come possiamo conoscere la strada??"
14:6	gli disse Gesù: “Io sono la Via, e la Verità, e la Vita. Nessuno viene al Padre, se non attraverso di me.
14:7	Se mi avessi conosciuto, certo anche voi avreste conosciuto mio Padre. E d'ora in poi, lo conoscerai, e tu l'hai visto».
14:8	gli disse Filippo, "Signore, rivelaci il Padre, e ci basta».
14:9	gli disse Gesù: “Sono stato con te per così tanto tempo, e non mi hai conosciuto? Filippo, chi mi vede, vede anche il Padre. Come puoi dire, ‘Rivelaci il Padre?'
14:10	Non credi che io sono nel Padre e il Padre è in me? Le parole che ti sto dicendo, Non parlo da me stesso. Ma il Padre dimora in me, fa questi lavori.
14:11	Non credi che io sono nel Padre e il Padre è in me?
14:12	O altro, credere a causa di queste stesse opere. Amen, amen, Ti dico, chi crede in me farà anch'egli le opere che io faccio. E cose più grandi di queste farà, perché vado al Padre.
