The Letter of Saint James 1: 12-18
| 1:12 | Blessed is the man who suffers temptation. For when he has been proven, he shall receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him. |
| 1:13 | No one should say, when he is tempted, that he was tempted by God. For God does not entice toward evils, and he himself tempts no one. |
| 1:14 | ಆದರೂ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ, each one is tempted by his own desires, having been enticed and drawn away. |
| 1:15 | ಅದರ ನಂತರ, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin. Yet truly sin, when it has been consummated, produces death. |

| 8:20 | “ಮತ್ತು ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರದ ನಡುವೆ ಇದ್ದಾಗ, ನೀವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ತುಣುಕುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ?” ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು, "ಏಳು." |
