ch 11 Metta

Metta 11

11:1 Û wê gava ku, when Jesus had completed instructing his twelve disciples, he went away from there in order to teach and to preach in their cities.
11:2 Now when John had heard, in prison, about the works of Christ, sending two of his disciples, Îsa ji wî re got:,
11:3 “Are you he who is to come, or should we expect another?"
11:4 û Îsa, bersiva, ji wan re got:: “Go and report to John what you have heard and seen.
11:5 The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, the poor are evangelized.
11:6 And blessed is he who has found no offense in me.”
11:7 Paşan, after they departed, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out to the desert to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
11:8 So what did you go out to see? A man in soft garments? Va ye, those who are clothed in soft garments are in the houses of kings.
11:9 Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Erê, Ez ji we re dibêjim, and more than a prophet.
11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written: 'Va ye, I send my Angel before your face, who shall prepare your way before you.’
11:11 Bi rastî ez ji we re dibêjim,, di nav wan ên ku ji jinan çêbûn, ji Yûhennayê * imadkar gengeşeyek li wir tu kes mezintir.
11:14 Û eger hûn dixwazin vê yekê qebûl in, ew ji Êlyas * e, ku wê bihata.
11:15 Yê ku guhên wî ji bo bihîstinê hene, bila bibihîze.
11:16 Lê ji bo çi ez vî nifşî * bimînînim? Ev wek zarokan rûniştî, ku li bazarê e,
11:17 kî, gazî hevalên xwe, gotin: 'Em music ji bo we li bilûrê, û hûn nereqisîn. em digirîn, û we şîn negirt.>
11:20 Then he began to rebuke the cities in which many of his miracles were accomplished, for they still had not repented.
11:21 “Woe to you, Xorazînê! Wey li we hûn, Beytsaydayê! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in haircloth and ashes.
11:22 Lê belê, bi rastî, Ez ji we re dibêjim, Tyre and Sidon shall be forgiven more than you, on the day of judgment.
11:23 Û hûn, Kefernahûmê, would you be exalted all the way to heaven? You shall descend all the way to Hell. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, perhaps it would have remained, heta vê rojê.
11:24 Lê belê, bi rastî, Ez ji we re dibêjim, that the land of Sodom shall be forgiven more than you, on the day of judgment.”
11:25 Di wê demê de, Îsa bersîv da û got:: "Ez ji we re eşkere dikin, Bav, Xudan yên Erd û ezman, Çimkî te ev tiştên ha ji şehreza û zaneyan veşartin, û ji wan re ji biçûkan re eşkere kir.
11:26 Erê, Bav, ji bo vê li ber we xweş bû.
11:27 Her tişt ji aliyê Bavê min ve radestî min. Û tu kes nizane ku Kurê pêştirî Bavê, û ne jî kesî dizanî ku Bav ji bilî Kur, û yên ku Kur bixwaze bi wî bide eşkerekirin.
11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and have been burdened, and I will refresh you.
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
11:30 For my yoke is sweet and my burden is light.”
