Ch 2 John

John 2

2:1 And on the third day, a wedding was held in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2:2 Now Jesus was also invited to the wedding, with his disciples.
2:3 And when the wine was failing, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”
2:4 And Jesus said to her: “What is that to me and to you, woman? My hour has not yet arrived.”
2:5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
2:6 Now in that place, there were six stone water jars, for the purification ritual of the Jews, containing two or three measures each.
2:7 Jesus sot zu hinnen, “Fill the water jars with water.” And they filled them to the very top.
2:8 A sot de Jesus zu hinnen, “Now draw from it, and carry it to the chief steward of the feast.” And they took it to him.
2:9 dann, when the chief steward had tasted the water made into wine, since he did not know where it was from, for only the servants who had drawn the water knew, the chief steward called the groom,
2:10 an hie sot zu him: “Every man offers the good wine first, an dann, when they have become inebriated, he offers what is worse. But you have kept the good wine until now.”
2:11 This was the beginning of the signs that Jesus accomplished in Cana of Galilee, and it manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
2:12 no dësem, he descended to Capernaum, with his mother and his brothers and his disciples, but they did not remain there for many days.
2:16 An zu deenen, déi ëmgehäit verkaaft, hie sot: "Huelt dëse Saachen eraus hei vun, an net mengem Papp an d'Haus an engem Haus vun commerce maachen. "
2:17 a wierklech, seng Jünger sech drun erënnert, datt et geschriwwen ass: "Äifer fir Är Haus verbraucht mech."
2:18 Dann äntwert de Judden a sot zu him, "Wat Zeechen kann weisen Iech op eis, datt Dir dës Saache kann do?"
2:19 Jesus Etzella a sot zu hinnen, "Zerstéiert dësem Tempel, an an dräi Deeg wäert ech et Dréimoment weider. "
2:20 Du sot de Judden, "Dëst Tempel gouf iwwer véierzeg-sechs Joer gebaut an, an Dir wäert et an dräi Deeg Dréimoment an?"
2:21 Nach hien allgemengen iwwer d'Temple vu sengem Kierper.
2:22 dofir, wann hat hie vun den Doudegen erëmbelieft, seng Jünger sech drun erënnert, datt hien dëst gesot hat, an se gegleeft an de Schrëften an am Wuert, datt de Jesus geschwat huet.
2:23 Now while he was at Jerusalem during the Passover, on the day of the feast, many trusted in his name, seeing his signs that he was accomplishing.
2:24 But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he himself had knowledge of all persons,
2:25 and because he had no need of anyone to offer testimony about a man. For he knew what was within a man.
