Ch 11 Matthew

Matthew 11

11:1 An et geschitt ass, datt, when Jesus had completed instructing his twelve disciples, he went away from there in order to teach and to preach in their cities.
11:2 Now when John had heard, in prison, about the works of Christ, sending two of his disciples, hie sot zu him,
11:3 “Are you he who is to come, or should we expect another?"
11:4 a Jesus, Äntwert, sot zu hinnen: “Go and report to John what you have heard and seen.
11:5 The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, the poor are evangelized.
11:6 And blessed is he who has found no offense in me.”
11:7 dann, after they departed, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out to the desert to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
11:8 So what did you go out to see? A man in soft garments? Kuckt, those who are clothed in soft garments are in the houses of kings.
11:9 Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Jo, ech soen dir, and more than a prophet.
11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written: "Kuckt, I send my Angel before your face, who shall prepare your way before you.’
11:11 Amen, ech soen iech, ënnert deene vu Fraen gebuer, do huet keen méi grouss wéi John der Baptist Kritiken. Nach d'mannst am Himmelräich ass méi grouss wéi hien.
11:12 Mä aus dem Deeg vum John der Baptist, och bis elo, der Himmelräich ass endured Gewalt, an der gewaltsam droen se ewech.
11:13 Fir all d'Prophéiten an d'Gesetz prophesied, souguer bis John.
11:14 A wann Dir bereet ze akzeptéieren, hien ass den Elias, deen ass ze kommen.
11:15 Wien huet Oueren ze héieren, Loosst him héieren.
11:16 Mee wat soll ech vergläichen dëser Generatioun? Et ass wéi Kanner an der Maartplaz Sëtzen,
11:17 déi, Vocatioun eraus un hir Begleeder, soen: "Mir hunn Musek fir Iech, an Dir hutt net Danz. mir gekrasch, an Dir hutt kräischen net. "
11:18 Fir John huet weder iessen oder drénken; an se soen, "Huet hien e Doropshi."
11:19 De Mënschejong huet iessen an drénken; an se soen, "Kuckt, e Mann, deen voraciously ësst an deen Wäin Gedrénks, engem Frënd vun Steier Sammler a Sënner. "Mä Wäisheet ass vun hirem Jongen justifiéieren."
11:20 Then he began to rebuke the cities in which many of his miracles were accomplished, for they still had not repented.
11:21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in haircloth and ashes.
11:22 nach wierklech, Ech soen Iech, Tyre and Sidon shall be forgiven more than you, on the day of judgment.
11:23 An du, Capernaum, would you be exalted all the way to heaven? You shall descend all the way to Hell. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, perhaps it would have remained, och zu dësem Dag.
11:24 nach wierklech, Ech soen Iech, that the land of Sodom shall be forgiven more than you, on the day of judgment.”
11:25 Deemools, Jesus Etzella a sot: "Ech erkennen Dir, Papp, Här vum Himmel an Äerd, well Dir hutt dës Saachen aus der schlau an der gescheit verstoppt, an hun hinnen ze Kléng verroden.
11:26 Jo, Papp, fir dës war lackeleg ier Dir.
11:27 All Saachen gewiescht fir mech vun mengem Papp geliwwert. An net gewosst de Jong ausser de Papp, nach weess een de Papp ausser de Jong, an deenen, mat wiem de Jong ass gewëllt him ze opzeweisen.
11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and have been burdened, and I will refresh you.
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
11:30 For my yoke is sweet and my burden is light.”
