1 Paoly Taratasy ho An'ny Tesalonianina

1 Thessalonians 1

1:1 Paoly sy Sylvanus sy Timoty, ny fiangonan'ny Tesaloniana,, in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:2 Anie ny fahasoavana sy ny fiadanana ho anareo. We give thanks to God always for all of you, keeping the memory of you in our prayers without ceasing,
1:3 remembering your work of faith, and hardship, ary ny fiantrana, and enduring hope, in our Lord Jesus Christ, eo anoloan 'Andriamanitra ny Ray.
1:4 For we know, rahalahy, malalan'Andriamanitra sady, of your election.
1:5 Fa ny filazantsaranay tsy nisy teo aminareo tamin'ny teny fotsiny, fa koa amin'ny hatsaran-toetra, ary ao amin'ny Fanahy Masina, ary lehibe fahafenoan'ny, ao amin 'ny fomba tahaka ny fantatrareo ihany no nanao zavatra teo aminareo noho ny aminareo.
1:6 Ary noho izany, ianareo efa nanahaka anay sy ny Tompo, nanaiky ny Teny eo amin'ny fahoriana lehibe, fa tamin'ny hafaliana avy amin'ny Fanahy Masina.
1:7 Dia toy izany tokoa no ho lasa modely ho an'ny rehetra izay mino any Makedonia sy Akaia ianareo.
1:8 Fa avy taminareo, ny Tenin'ny Tompo dia niely, tsy tany Makedonia sy Akaia, fa eo amin'ny fitoerana rehetra. ny finoanao, izay ao amin'Andriamanitra, Efa nandroso fatratra mba tsy mila miteny na inona na inona aminao momba ny.
1:9 Ho an'ny hafa dia mitatitra eto amintsika ny karazana fanekena azonay eo aminareo, sy ny fomba amin'ny sampy niova fo ho an'Andriamanitra, ny fanompoana momba ny velona sy marina Andriamanitra,
1:10 ary ny fiandrasana ny Zanany tany an-danitra (Izay natsangany tamin'ny maty), Jesosy, Izay namonjy antsika amin'ny fahatezerana manatona.

1 Thessalonians 2

2:1 For you yourselves know, rahalahy, that our acceptance among you was not empty.
2:2 Fa tsy, having previously suffered and been treated shamefully, as you know, at Philippi, we had confidence in our God, so as to speak the Gospel of God to you with much solicitude.
2:3 For our exhortation was not in error, nor from impurity, nor with deception.
2:4 Fa, just as we have been tested by God, so that the Gospel would be entrusted to us, so also did we speak, not so as to please men, but rather to please God, who tests our hearts.
2:5 And neither did we, na oviana na oviana, become flattering in speech, as you know, nor did we seek an opportunity for avarice, as God is witness.
2:6 Nor did we seek the glory of men, neither from you, nor from others.
2:7 And although we could have been a burden to you, as Apostles of Christ, instead we became like little ones in your midst, like a nurse cherishing her children.
2:8 So desirous were we for you that we were willing to hand over to you, not only the Gospel of God, but even our own souls. For you have become most beloved to us.
2:9 For you remember, rahalahy, our hardship and weariness. We preached the Gospel of God among you, working night and day, so that we would not be burdensome to any of you.
2:10 You are witnesses, as is God, of how holy and just and blameless we were with you who have believed.
2:11 And you know the manner, with each one of you, like a father with his sons,
2:12 in which we were pleading with you and consoling you, bearing witness, so that you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.
2:13 Ary noho izany koa, we give thanks to God without ceasing: satria, when you had accepted from us the Word of the hearing of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, fa (as it truly is) as the Word of God, who is working in you who have believed.
2:14 Ho anao, rahalahy, have become imitators of the churches of God which are at Judea, ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy. Ho anao, koa, have suffered the same things from your fellow countrymen as they have suffered from the Jews,
2:15 who also killed both the Lord Jesus, sy ny Mpaminany, and who have persecuted us. But they do not please God, and so they are adversaries to all men.
2:16 They prohibit us to speak to the Gentiles, mba ho voavonjy, and thus do they continually add to their own sins. But the wrath of God will overtake them in the very end.
2:17 ary izahay, rahalahy, having been deprived of you for a short time, in sight, but not in heart, have hurried all the more to see your face, with a great desire.
2:18 For we wanted to come to you, (tokoa, I, Paul, attempted to do so once, and then again,) but Satan impeded us.
2:19 For what is our hope, and our joy, and our crown of glory? Is it not you, before our Lord Jesus Christ at his return?
2:20 For you are our glory and our joy.

1 Thessalonians 3

3:1 Noho io, willing to wait no longer, it was pleasing to us to remain at Athens, irery.
3:2 And we sent Timothy, our brother and a minister of God in the Gospel of Christ, to confirm you and to exhort you, on behalf of your faith,
3:3 so that no one would be disturbed during these tribulations. For you yourselves know that we have been appointed to this.
3:4 For even while we were with you, we predicted to you that we would suffer tribulations, even as it has happened, and as you know.
3:5 Ary noho izany koa, I was not willing to wait any longer, and I sent to find out about your faith, lest perhaps he who tempts may have tempted you, and our labor might have been in vain.
3:6 fa avy eo, when Timothy arrived to us from you, he reported to us your faith and charity, and that you keep a good remembrance of us always, desiring to see us, just as we likewise desire to see you.
3:7 Vokatr'izany, we were consoled in you, rahalahy, in the midst of all our difficulties and tribulations, through your faith.
3:8 For we now live so that you may stand firm in the Lord.
3:9 For what thanks would we be able to repay to God because of you, for all the joy with which we rejoice over you before our God?
3:10 For night and day, ever more abundantly, we are praying that we may see your face, and that we may complete those things that are lacking in your faith.
3:11 But may God our Father himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.
3:12 Ary enga anie ny Tompo hahamaro anao, ary hahatonga anao be eo amin'ny fitiavana ny hafa sy ny olona rehetra, tahaka antsika koa teo aminareo,
3:13 mba hanamarinana ny fonareo tsy misy tsiny, in masina, eo anoloan 'Andriamanitra ny Ray, amin 'ny fiverenan'i Jesosy Kristy Tompontsika, mbamin'ny masiny rehetra. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 4

4:1 Noho izany, ny amin'ny zavatra hafa, rahalahy, mangataka ary mangataka aminareo, ao amin'ny Tompo Jesosy, fa, araka ny efa nandray avy aminay ny lalana izay mety handehananareo sy hanaovanareo ny sitrapon'Andriamanitra, dia tahaka izany koa anie ianao mandeha, mba mba hitomboanareo bebe kokoa rehetra.
4:2 Fa fantatrareo ny didy efa nomeko ho anareo avy tamin'i Jesosy Tompo.
4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from fornication,
4:4 that each one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor,
4:5 not in passions of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God,
4:6 and that no one should overwhelm or circumvent his brother in business. For the Lord is the vindicator of all these things, just as we have preached and testified to you.
4:7 For God has not called us to impurity, but to sanctification.
4:8 Ary noho izany, whoever despises these teachings, does not despise man, but God, who has even provided his Holy Spirit within us.
4:9 But concerning the charity of brotherhood, we have no need to write to you. For you yourselves have learned from God that you should love one another.
4:10 Fa tokoa, you act in this way with all the brothers in all of Macedonia. But we petition you, rahalahy, so that you may abound all the more,
4:11 to choose work that allows you to be tranquil, and to carry out your business and to do your work with your own hands, just as we have instructed you,
4:12 and to walk honestly with those who are outside, and to desire nothing belonging to another.
4:13 Ary tsy tiako tsy ho fantatrareo, rahalahy, momba ireo izay efa matory, mba tsy halahelo, toy ireo hafa izay tsy manana fanantenana.
4:14 Fa raha inoantsika fa efa maty i Jesosy, ary nitsangana indray, toy izany koa no hitondran'Andriamanitra indray niaraka tamin'i Jesosy izay matory ao aminy.
4:15 Fa izao no lazainay aminareo, ao amin'ny Tenin'ny Tompo: fa isika izay velona, izay sisa ho tra-fiverenan'ny Tompo, dia tsy mba hialoha izay efa nodi-mandry.
4:16 Fa ny tenan'ny Tompo, amin'ny didy sy ny feon'ny arikanjely ary ny anjomara 'Andriamanitra, any an-danitra no hidina avy. Ary ny maty, izay ao amin'i Kristy, hitsangana aloha.
4:17 Manaraka, isika izay velona, izay sisa tavela, dia nakarina haingana hiaraka aminy ho any an-rahona hitsena an'i Kristy eny amin'ny habakabaka. Ary toy izany, isika, dia aoka amin'ny Tompo mandrakariva.
4:18 Noho izany, hampionona ny hafa amin'ny izany teny izany.

1 Thessalonians 5

5:1 Fa ny amin'ny daty sy ny fotoana, rahalahy, tsy mila antsika mba hanoratra aminareo.
5:2 Fa ny tenanareo tsara mahatakatra fa ny andron'ny Tompo dia tonga be toy ny mpangalatra amin'ny alina.
5:3 Fa raha hanao hoe:, "Fandriampahalemana sy filaminana!"Avy eo dia ho avy tampoka ny fandringanana-tena be, toy ny asa fanaintainan 'ny vehivavy bevohoka, ka tsy afa-mandositra.
5:4 fa ianareo, rahalahy, tsy ao amin'ny maizina, mba ho latsaka any an-amin'izany andro izany toy ny amin'ny mpangalatra.
5:5 Fa ianareo rehetra dia zanaky ny mazava sy zanaky ny antoandro; dia tsy ny alina, na an'ny maizina.
5:6 Noho izany, aza mba matory, toy ny hafa. Fa tsy, tokony ho mailo sy hahonon-tena.
5:7 For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are inebriated, are inebriated in the night.
5:8 But we, who are of the daylight, should be sober, being clothed with the breastplate of faith and of charity and having, as a helmet, the hope of salvation.
5:9 Fa Andriamanitra tsy nanendry antsika ho amin'ny fahatezerana, fa ho amin'ny fahazoana famonjena amin'ny alalan'i Jesosy Kristy Tompontsika,
5:10 Izay maty hamonjy antsika, amin'izay mba, raha jerentsika, na izahay na matory, dia ho velona ao aminy.
5:11 Noho io, samy hampionona ary hanangana ny hafa, tahaka ny ataonareo.
5:12 And we ask you, rahalahy, to recognize those who labor among you, and who preside over you in the Lord, and who admonish you,
5:13 so that you may consider them with an abundance of charity, for the sake of their work. Be at peace with them.
5:14 And we ask you, rahalahy: correct the disruptive, console the weak-minded, support the sick, be patient with everyone.
5:15 See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone. Fa tsy, always pursue whatever is good, with one another and with all.
5:16 Mifalia mandrakariva.
5:17 Mivavaha ka aza mitsahatra.
5:18 Misaora amin'ny zavatra rehetra. Fa izao no sitrapon'Andriamanitra ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy, noho ny aminareo rehetra.
5:19 Aza misafidy ny hamono ny Fanahy.
5:20 Aza manao tsinontsinona ny faminaniana.
5:21 Fa fantaro aloha raha ny zava-drehetra. Tazony hatrany na inona na inona tsara.
5:22 Hifady ny ratsy isan-karazany.
5:23 Ary enga anie ny Andriamanitry ny fiadanana anie hahamasina anareo ny alalan 'ny zava-drehetra, ka ny fanahy sy ny manontolo fanahy sy ny tena dia mety ho voatahiry tsy hanan-tsiny ho amin'ny fiverenan'i Jesosy Kristy Tompontsika.
5:24 Izay efa niantso anareo mahatoky. Dia io no hanao zavatra na dia ankehitriny aza.
5:25 rahalahy, mivavaha ho anay.
5:26 Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.
5:27 I bind you, through the Lord, that this epistle is to be read to all the holy brothers.
5:28 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
