    First Reading

    Izajasz 61: 1-3, 6, 8-9

61:1The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to bring good news to the meek, so as to heal the contrite of heart, to preach leniency to captives and release to the confined,
61:2and so to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vindication of our God: to console all who are mourning,
61:3to take up the mourners of Zion and to give them a crown in place of ashes, an oil of joy in place of mourning, a cloak of praise in place of a spirit of grief. I tam, they shall be called the strong ones of justice, the planting of the Lord, unto glorification.
61:6But you yourselves will be called the priests of the Lord. It will be said to you, “You are the ministers of our God.” You will eat from the strength of the Gentiles, and you will pride yourself on their glory.
61:8Bo jestem Panem, who loves judgment and who holds hatred for robbery within a burnt offering. And I will turn their work into truth, and I will forge a perpetual covenant with them.
61:9And they will know their offspring among the nations, and their progeny in the midst of the peoples. All who see them will recognize them: that these are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.

4:18“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; z tego powodu, he has anointed me. He has sent me to evangelize the poor, to heal the contrite of heart,
4:19to preach forgiveness to captives and sight to the blind, to release the broken into forgiveness, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of retribution.”
4:20And when he had rolled up the book, he returned it to the minister, and he sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him.

    Jan 13: 1- 15

13:1Before the feast day of the Passover, Jesus knew that the hour was approaching when he would pass from this world to the Father. And since he had always loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
13:2And when the meal had taken place, when the devil had now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray him,
13:3knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he came from God and was going to God,
13:4he rose up from the meal, and he set aside his vestments, and when he had received a towel, he wrapped it around himself.
13:5Next he put water into a shallow bowl, and he began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe them with the towel with which he was wrapped.
13:6And then he came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to him, "Lord, would you wash my feet?”
13:7Jesus responded and said to him: “What I am doing, you do not now understand. But you shall understand it afterward.”
13:8Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you will have no place with me.”
13:9Simon Peter said to him, “Then Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!”
13:10Jesus said to him: “He who is washed need only wash his feet, and then he will be entirely clean. And you are clean, but not all.”
13:11For he knew which one would betray him. Z tego powodu, powiedział, “You are not all clean.”
13:12A więc, after he washed their feet and received his vestments, when he had sat down at table again, powiedział do nich: “Do you know what I have done for you?
13:13You call me Teacher and Lord, and you speak well: for so I am.
13:14Dlatego, if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash the feet of one another.
13:15For I have given you an example, so that just as I have done for you, so also should you do.

    Izajasz 50: 4 – 9

50:4The Lord has given me a learned tongue, so that I would know how to uphold with a word, one who has weakened. He rises in the morning, he rises to my ear in the morning, so that I may heed him like a teacher.
50:5The Lord God has opened my ear. And I do not contradict him. I have not turned back.
50:6I have given my body to those who strike me, and my cheeks to those who plucked them. I have not averted my face from those who rebuked me and who spit on me.
50:7The Lord God is my helper. Dlatego, I have not been confounded. Dlatego, I have set my face like a very hard rock, and I know that I will not be confounded.
50:8He who justifies me is near. Who will speak against me? Let us stand together. Who is my adversary? Let him approach me.
50:9Ujrzeć, the Lord God is my helper. Who is the one who would condemn me? Ujrzeć, they will all be worn away like a garment; the moth will devour them.

    Gospel according to Matthew 26:14 – 25

26:14Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the leaders of the priests,
26:15i rzekł do nich, “What are you willing to give me, if I hand him over to you?” So they appointed thirty pieces of silver for him.
26:16I od tego momentu, he sought an opportunity to betray him.
26:17Następnie, on the first day of Unleavened Bread, the disciples approached Jesus, powiedzenie, “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”
26:18So Jesus said, “Go into the city, to a certain one, i powiedz mu: ‘The Teacher said: My time is near. I am observing the Passover with you, along with my disciples.’ ”
26:19And the disciples did just as Jesus appointed to them. And they prepared the Passover.
26:20Następnie, when evening arrived, he sat at table with his twelve disciples.
26:21And while they were eating, powiedział: „Amen mówię wam, that one of you is about to betray me.”
26:22And being greatly saddened, each one of them began to say, “Surely, to nie ja, Lord?”
26:23But he responded by saying: “He who dips his hand with me into the dish, the same will betray me.
26:24Rzeczywiście, the Son of man goes, just as it has been written about him. But woe to that man by whom the Son of man will be betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
26:25Then Judas, who betrayed him, responded by saying, “Surely, to nie ja, Master?” He said to him, “You have said it.”

    Izajasz 49: 1- 6

49:1Pay attention, you islands, i słuchaj uważnie, you far away peoples. The Lord has called me from the womb; from the womb of my mother, he has been mindful of my name.
49:2And he has appointed my mouth as a sharp sword. In the shadow of his hand, he has protected me. And he has appointed me as an elect arrow. In his quiver, he has hidden me.
49:3And he has said to me: “You are my servant, Izrael. For in you, I will glory.”
49:4And I said: “I have labored toward emptiness. I have consumed my strength without purpose and in vain. Dlatego, my judgment is with the Lord, and my work is with my God.”
49:5I teraz, mówi Pan, who formed me from the womb as his servant, so that I may bring back Jacob to him, for Israel will not be gathered together, but I have been glorified in the eyes of the Lord and my God has become my strength,
49:6and so he has said: “It is a small thing that you should be my servant so as to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and so as to convert the dregs of Israel. Ujrzeć, I have offered you as a light for the Gentiles, so that you may be my salvation, even to the furthest regions of the earth.”

    Jan 13: 21- 33, 36- 38

13:21When Jesus had said these things, he was troubled in spirit. And he bore witness by saying: "Amen, amen, mówię do ciebie, that one among you shall betray me.”
13:22Dlatego, the disciples looked around at one another, uncertain about whom he spoke.
13:23And leaning against the bosom of Jesus was one of his disciples, the one whom Jesus loved.
13:24Dlatego, Simon Peter motioned to this one and said to him, “Who is it that he is speaking about?”
13:25A więc, leaning against the chest of Jesus, powiedział do niego, "Lord, who is it?”
13:26Jezus odpowiedział, “It is he to whom I shall extend the dipped bread.” And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.
13:27And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. I rzekł mu Jezus, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”
13:28Now none of those sitting at table knew why he had said this to him.
13:29For some were thinking that, because Judas held the purse, that Jesus had told him, “Buy those things which are needed by us for the feast day,” or that he might give something to the needy.
13:30Dlatego, having accepted the morsel, he went out immediately. And it was night.
13:31Następnie, when he had gone out, Jezus powiedział: “Now the Son of man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
13:32If God has been glorified in him, then God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him without delay.
13:33Little sons, for a brief while, I am with you. You shall seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you are not able to go,’ so also I say to you now.
13:36Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?” Jesus responded: “Where I am going, you are not able to follow me now. But you shall follow afterward.”
13:37Peter said to him: “Why am I unable to follow you now? I will lay down my life for you!”
13:38Jesus answered him: “You will lay down your life for me? Amen, amen, mówię do ciebie, the rooster will not crow, until you deny me three times.”
