Ch 6 Johani

Johani 6

6:1 Mushure mezvinhu izvi, Jesus traveled across the sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
6:2 And a great multitude was following him, for they saw the signs that he was accomplishing toward those who were infirm.
6:3 Naizvozvo, Jesus went onto a mountain, and he sat down there with his disciples.
6:4 Now the Passover, the feast day of the Jews, was near.
6:5 Uye saka, when Jesus had lifted up his eyes and had seen that a very great multitude came to him, he said to Philip, “From where should we buy bread, so that these may eat?”
6:6 But he said this to test him. For he himself knew what he would do.
6:7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii of bread would not be sufficient for each of them to receive even a little.”
6:8 One of his disciples, Andrew, mukoma waSimoni Petro, akati kwaari:
6:9 “There is a certain boy here, who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are these among so many?”
6:10 Ipapo Jesu akati, “Have the men sit down to eat.” Now, there was much grass in that place. And so the men, in number about five thousand, sat down to eat.
6:11 Naizvozvo, Jesus took the bread, uye akati avonga, he distributed it to those who were sitting down to eat; zvakafanana zvakare, from the fish, as much as they wanted.
6:12 Zvadaro, when they were filled, akati kuvadzidzi vake, “Gather the fragments that are left over, lest they be lost.”
6:13 And so they gathered, and they filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which were left over from those who had eaten.
6:14 Naizvozvo, those men, when they had seen that Jesus had accomplished a sign, vakati, “Chokwadi, this one is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
6:15 Uye saka, when he realized that they were going to come and take him away and make him king, Jesus fled back to the mountain, by himself alone.
6:16 Zvadaro, when evening arrived, his disciples descended to the sea.
6:17 And when they had climbed into a boat, they went across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness had now arrived, and Jesus had not returned to them.
6:18 Then the sea was stirred up by a great wind that was blowing.
6:19 Uye saka, when they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the boat, uye vakatya.
6:20 Asi akati kwavari: “It is I. Usatya."
6:21 Naizvozvo, they were willing to receive him into the boat. But immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
6:22 Pazuva rinotevera, the crowd which was standing across the sea saw that there were no other small boats in that place, except one, and that Jesus had not entered into the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had departed alone.
6:23 Asi chokwadi, other boats came over from Tiberias, next to the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord gave thanks.
6:24 Naizvozvo, vanhu vazhinji pavakaona kuti Jesu akanga asipo, kana vadzidzi vake, vakakwira mumagwa maduku, vakaenda kuKapenaume, vachitsvaka Jesu.
6:25 Zvino vakati vamuwana mhiri kwegungwa, vakati kwaari, “Rabhi, wakauya rinhi kuno?”
6:26 Jesu akavapindura akati: “Ameni, ameni, ndinoti kwamuri, munonditsvaka, kwete nekuti waona zviratidzo, asi nokuti wadya chingwa ukaguta.
6:27 Musashandira zvokudya zvinopera, asi icho chinogara kuupenyu husingaperi, zvamuchapiwa noMwanakomana woMunhu. Nokuti Mwari Baba vakamuisa chisimbiso.
6:28 Naizvozvo, vakati kwaari, “Toita sei, kuti tishande mumabasa aMwari?”
6:29 Jesu akapindura akati kwavari, “Iri ibasa raMwari, kuti mutende kuna iye waakatuma.
6:30 Saka vakati kwaari: “Zvino muchaita chiratidzo chipi, kuitira kuti tione uye titende mamuri? Uchashanda chii?
6:31 Madzibaba edu akadya mana murenje, sezvazvakanyorwa, ‘Akavapa chingwa chakabva kudenga kuti vadye.’ ”
6:32 Naizvozvo, Jesu akati kwavari: “Ameni, ameni, ndinoti kwamuri, Mozisi haana kukupai chingwa chakabva kudenga, asi Baba vangu vanokupai chingwa chechokwadi chinobva kudenga.
6:33 Nokuti chingwa chaMwari ndiye anoburuka achibva kudenga uye anopa upenyu kunyika.
6:34 Saka vakati kwaari, “Ishe, tipei chingwa ichi nguva dzose.
6:35 Ipapo Jesu akati kwavari: “Ndini chingwa choupenyu. ani nani unouya kwandiri, haangatongovi nenzara;, uye ani naani anotenda kwandiri haangatongovi nenyota.
6:36 Asi ndinoti kwamuri, that even though you have seen me, you do not believe.
6:37 All that the Father gives to me shall come to me. And whoever comes to me, I will not cast out.
6:38 For I descended from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
6:39 Yet this is the will of the Father who sent me: that I should lose nothing out of all that he has given to me, but that I should raise them up on the last day.
6:40 Saka zvino, this is the will of my Father who sent me: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
6:41 Naizvozvo, vaJudha vakagunun’una pamusoro pake, nokuti akanga ataura: “Ndini chingwa chipenyu, uyo akaburuka kubva kudenga.
6:42 Ivo ndokuti: “Haasi Jesu here uyu, mwanakomana waJosefa, baba namai vake vatinoziva? Ipapo angataura sei: ‘Nokuti ndakaburuka kubva kudenga?’”
6:43 Uye saka Jesu akapindura akati kwavari: “Musasarudza kugunun’una pakati penyu.
6:44 Hapana anogona kuuya kwandiri, kunze kwaBaba, ndiani akandituma, akamukweva. Uye ini ndichamumutsa nezuva rekupedzisira.

6:53 Naizvozvo, vaJudha vakaitirana nharo pakati pavo, achiti, “Munhu uyu angatipa sei nyama yake kuti tidye?”
6:54 Uye saka, Jesu akati kwavari: “Ameni, ameni, ndinoti kwamuri, kunze kwokunge madya nyama yoMwanakomana woMunhu nokunwa ropa rake, hamuzovi noupenyu mamuri.

6:59 This is the bread that descends from heaven. It is not like the manna that your fathers ate, for they died. Whoever eats this bread shall live forever.”
6:60 He said these things when he was teaching in the synagogue at Capernaum.
6:61 Naizvozvo, many of his disciples, pakunzwa izvi, akadaro: “This saying is difficult,” uye, “Who is able to listen to it?”
6:62 Asi Jesu, knowing within himself that his disciples were murmuring about this, akati kwavari: “Does this offend you?
6:63 Then what if you were to see the Son of man ascending to where he was before?
6:64 It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh does not offer anything of benefit. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
6:65 But there are some among you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who were unbelieving and which one would betray him.
6:66 Akadaro, “Nechikonzero ichi, I said to you that no one is able to come to me, unless it has been given to him by my Father.”
6:67 Mushure meizvi, many of his disciples went back, and they no longer walked with him.
6:68 Naizvozvo, Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”
6:69 Then Simon Peter answered him: “Ishe, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.
6:70 And we have believed, and we recognize that you are the Christ, the Son of God.”
6:71 Jesu akavapindura akati: “Have I not chosen you twelve? And yet one among you is a devil.”
6:72 Now he was speaking about Judas Iscariot, mwanakomana waSimoni. For this one, even though he was one of the twelve, was about to betray him.
