| 7:4 | Kwaye xa ubuya emarikeni, ngaphandle kokuba bahlambe, abadli. Kwaye kukho nezinye izinto ezininzi ezinikezelwe kubo ukuba bazigcine: Ukuhlanjwa kweendebe, kunye neengqayi, nezitya zobhedu, kunye neebhedi. |
| 7:5 | Bambuza ke abaFarisi nababhali: Yini na ukuba abafundi bakho bangahambi ngokwesithethe samanyange?, ke isonka basidla ngezandla?” |
| 7:6 | Kodwa ekuphenduleni, wathi kubo: Watyapha ukuprofeta ngani uIsaya, bahanahanisindini, kanye njengoko kubhaliwe: ‘Esi sizwana sindibeka ngemilebe yaso, kodwa intliziyo yabo ikude lee kum. |

| 7:8 | Ngenxa yokuwushiya umyalelo kaThixo, nisibambile isithethe sabantu;, ekuhlanjweni kwemiphanda neendebe. Kwaye nenza nezinye izinto ezininzi ezifanayo nezi. |
| 7:9 | Wathi kubo: “Ngokuqinisekileyo niwutshitshisa umthetho kaThixo, ukuze nisigcine isithethe senu. |
