સેન્ટ જેમ્સનો પત્ર 3: 13-18

3:13	Who is wise and well-taught among you? Let him show, by means of good conversation, his work in the meekness of wisdom.
3:14	But if you hold a bitter zeal, and if there is contention in your hearts, then do not boast and do not be liars against the truth.
3:15	For this is not wisdom, descending from above, but rather it is earthly, beastly, and diabolical.
3:16	માટે જ્યાં પણ ઈર્ષ્યા અને વિવાદ છે, ત્યાં પણ અસંગતતા અને દરેક બગડેલું કામ છે.
3:17	પણ અંદર જે ડહાપણ ઉપરથી છે, ચોક્કસપણે, પવિત્રતા પ્રથમ છે, અને આગામી શાંતિ, નમ્રતા, નિખાલસતા, જે સારું છે તેની સંમતિ, દયા અને સારા ફળોની પુષ્કળતા, ન્યાય નથી, અસત્ય વિના.

The Holy Gospel According of Mark 9: 14-29

9:14	And soon all the people, seeing Jesus, were astonished and struck with fear, and hurrying to him, they greeted him.

9:16	And one from the crowd responded by saying: “શિક્ષક, I have brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit.
9:17	And whenever it takes hold of him, it throws him down, and he foams and gnashes with his teeth, and he becomes unconscious. And I asked your disciples to cast him out, and they could not.”
9:18	અને તેમને જવાબ આપે છે, તેણે કીધુ: “ઓ અવિશ્વાસી પેઢી, મારે તમારી સાથે ક્યાં સુધી રહેવું જોઈએ? ક્યાં સુધી હું તને સહન કરીશ? તેને મારી પાસે લાવો.”

9:23	અને તરત જ છોકરાના પિતા, આંસુ સાથે રડવું, જણાવ્યું હતું: "હું વિશ્વાસ કરુ છુ, પ્રભુ. મારા અવિશ્વાસને મદદ કરો.”
9:24	અને જ્યારે ઈસુએ ટોળાને એકસાથે ધસી આવતા જોયા, તેણે અશુદ્ધ આત્માને ચેતવણી આપી, તેને કહે છે, “બહેરા અને મૂંગા આત્મા, હું તમને આદેશ આપું છું, તેને છોડી દો; અને હવે તેનામાં પ્રવેશ કરશો નહિ.”
9:25	અને બૂમો પાડી રહી છે, અને તેને મોટા પ્રમાણમાં આંચકી લે છે, તેણે તેની પાસેથી વિદાય લીધી. અને તે મૃત્યુ પામેલા જેવો બન્યો, ઘણાએ કહ્યું, "તે મરી ગયો છે."
9:26	પરંતુ ઈસુ, તેનો હાથ પકડીને, તેને ઉપર ઉઠાવ્યો. અને તે ઊભો થયો.
9:27	And when he had entered into the house, his disciples questioned him privately, “Why were we unable to cast him out?"
9:28	અને તેણે તેઓને કહ્યું, “This kind is able to be expelled by nothing other than prayer and fasting.”
9:29	And setting out from there, they passed through Galilee. And he intended that no one know about it.
