The Book of Genesis 17: 3-9

17:3	અબ્રામ તેના ચહેરા પર ઢળી પડ્યો.
17:4	અને ભગવાને તેને કહ્યું: "હું છું, અને મારો કરાર તમારી સાથે છે, અને તમે ઘણા દેશોના પિતા બનશો.
17:5	હવેથી તારું નામ અબ્રામ નહિ કહેવાય. પણ તું અબ્રાહમ કહેવાશે, કેમ કે મેં તને ઘણી પ્રજાઓના પિતા તરીકે સ્થાપિત કર્યો છે.
17:6	અને હું તમને ખૂબ જ વધારીશ, અને હું તને પ્રજાઓમાં સ્થાપિત કરીશ, અને રાજાઓ તમારામાંથી બહાર આવશે.
17:7	અને હું મારી અને તમારી વચ્ચે મારો કરાર સ્થાપિત કરીશ, અને તેઓની પેઢીઓમાં તમારા પછી તમારા સંતાનો સાથે, શાશ્વત કરાર દ્વારા: તમારા માટે અને તમારા પછી તમારા સંતાનો માટે ભગવાન બનવા માટે.

8:51	આમીન, આમીન, હું તમને કહું છું, if anyone will have kept my word, he will not see death for eternity.”
8:52	તેથી, the Jews said: “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham is dead, and the Prophets; and yet you say, ‘If anyone will have kept my word, he shall not taste death for eternity.’
8:53	Are you greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. So who do you make yourself to be?"
8:54	Jesus responded: “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me. And you say about him that he is your God.
8:55	And yet you have not known him. But I know him. And if I were to say that I do not know him, then I would be like you, a liar. But I know him, and I keep his word.
8:56	Abraham, તમારા પિતા, rejoiced that he might see my day; he saw it and was glad.”
8:57	And so the Jews said to him, “You have not yet reached fifty years, and you have seen Abraham?"
8:58	ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું, “Amen, આમીન, હું તમને કહું છું, before Abraham was made, I am.”
8:59	તેથી, they took up stones to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself, and he departed from the temple.
