আইন 2: 14, 36-41

 

2:14	কিন্তু পিটার, একাদশের সাথে দাঁড়ানো, তার কণ্ঠস্বর তুলল, এবং তিনি তাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলেন: "জুডিয়ার পুরুষরা, এবং যারা জেরুজালেমে অবস্থান করছে, এই আপনার জানা হতে দিন, আর আমার কথায় কান দাও.

2:36	অতএব, ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত পরিবার নিশ্চিতভাবে জানতে পারে যে ঈশ্বর এই একই যীশুকে তৈরি করেছেন, যাকে আপনি ক্রুশবিদ্ধ করেছেন, প্রভু এবং খ্রীষ্ট উভয়ই।"
2:37	এখন যখন তারা এসব কথা শুনেছে, তারা মনে মনে অনুতপ্ত ছিল, তারা পিতর ও অন্যান্য প্রেরিতদের বলল৷: "আমাদের কি করা উচিৎ, সম্ভ্রান্ত ভাইয়েরা?"
2:38	তবুও সত্যি, পিটার তাদের বললেন: “তপস্যা কর; এবং বাপ্তিস্ম নিতে হবে, তোমরা প্রত্যেকে, যীশু খ্রীষ্টের নামে, আপনার পাপের ক্ষমার জন্য. এবং আপনি পবিত্র আত্মার দান পাবেন.
2:39	কারণ প্রতিশ্রুতি আপনার এবং আপনার পুত্রদের জন্য, এবং যারা দূরে আছেন তাদের জন্য: আমাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বর যাকে ডাকবেন তার জন্য।”

First Peters 2: 20-25

2:20	For what glory is there, if you sin and then suffer a beating? But if you do well and suffer patiently, this is grace with God.
2:21	For you have been called to this because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in his footsteps.
2:22	He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.
2:23	And when evil was spoken against him, he did not speak evil. When he suffered, he did not threaten. Then he handed himself over to him who judged him unjustly.
2:24	He himself bore our sins in his body upon the tree, so that we, having died to sin, would live for justice. By his wounds, you have been healed.
2:25	For you were like wandering sheep. But now you have been turned back toward the Pastor and the Bishop of your souls.

জন 10: 1-10

10:1	“আমেন, আমেন, আমি তোমাকে বলছি, he who does not enter through the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up by another way, he is a thief and a robber.
10:2	But he who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
10:3	To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and he leads them out.
10:4	And when he has sent out his sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
10:5	But they do not follow a stranger; instead they flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”
10:6	Jesus spoke this proverb to them. But they did not understand what he was saying to them.
10:7	অতএব, Jesus spoke to them again: “আমেন, আমেন, আমি তোমাকে বলছি, that I am the door of the sheep.
10:8	All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers, and the sheep did not listen to them.
10:9	I am the door. If anyone has entered through me, he will be saved. And he shall go in and go out, and he shall find pastures.
10:10	The thief does not come, except so that he may steal and slaughter and destroy. I have come so that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.
