Hosea 14: 2-7

14:2 Izrael, convert to the Lord your God. For you have been ruined by your own iniquity.
14:3 Take these words with you and return to the Lord. And say to him, “Remove all iniquity and accept the good. And we will repay the calves of our lips.
14:4 Assur will not save us; we will not ride on horses. Neither will we say any more, ‘The works of our hands are our gods,’ for those that are in you will have mercy on the orphan.”
14:5 I will heal their contrition; I will love them spontaneously. For my wrath has been turned away from them.
14:6 I will be like the dew; Israel will spring forth like the lily, and his root will spread out like that of the cedars of Lebanon.
14:7 His branches will advance, and his glory will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance will be like that of the cedars of Lebanon.

Matthew 10: 16-23

10:16 Gle, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves. Stoga, be as prudent as serpents and as simple as doves.
10:17 Ali čuvajte se muškaraca. Jer oni će vas predati vijećima, i bičevaće vas u svojim sinagogama.
10:18 I bićete vođeni pred vladare i kraljeve radi mene, kao svjedočanstvo njima i neznabošcima.
10:19 Ali kad te predaju, ne birajte da razmišljate o tome kako ili šta da govorite. Jer šta da govorite biće vam dato u taj čas.
10:20 Jer nećete vi govoriti, nego Duh Oca vašeg, ko će govoriti u tebi.
10:21 I brat će predati brata smrti, a otac će predati sina. I djeca će ustati protiv roditelja i dovesti do njihove smrti.
10:22 I svi će te mrzeti zbog mog imena. Ali ko god bi izdržao, cak do kraja, isto će biti sačuvano.
10:23 Now when they persecute you in one city, flee into another. Amen vam kažem, you will not have exhausted all the cities of Israel, before the Son of man returns.
