1:1	Paul, Apostol Isusa Hrista Božjom voljom, u skladu sa obećanjem života koji je u Hristu Isusu,
1:2	Timothyju, najvoljeniji sin. Grace, milost, mir, od Boga Oca i od Hrista Isusa našeg Gospoda.
