قراءة

The Book of the Prophet Jeremiah 31: 31-34

31:31	ها, الأيام تقترب, يقول الرب, when I will form a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
31:32	not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand, so as to lead them away from the land of Egypt, the covenant which they nullified, though I was the ruler over them, يقول الرب.
31:33	But this will be the covenant that I will form with the house of Israel, بعد تلك الايام, يقول الرب: I will give my law to their inner most being, and I will write it upon their heart. وسأكون إلههم, ويكونون شعبي.
31:34	And they will no longer teach, a man his neighbor, and a man his brother, قول: ‘Know the Lord.’ For all will know me, from the littlest of them even to the greatest, يقول الرب. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will no longer remember their sin.

الإنجيل بحسب متى 16: 13-23

16:13	ثم ذهب يسوع إلى أجزاء من قيصرية فيلبي. وسأل تلاميذه, قول, "من يقول الناس أن ابن الإنسان هو?"
16:14	وقالوا, "يقول البعض يوحنا المعمدان, وآخرون يقولون إيليا, لا يزال آخرون يقولون إرميا أو أحد الأنبياء ".
16:15	قال لهم يسوع, "ولكن من تقول أنا?"
16:16	أجاب سمعان بطرس بالقول, "أنت المسيح, ابن الله الحي ".
16:17	وردا على ذلك, قال له يسوع: "مباركة أنت, سمعان بن يونا. لان اللحم والدم لم يعلن لكم هذا, لكن أبي, من في الجنة.
16:18	وانا اقول لكم, أنك بطرس, وعلى هذه الصخرة سأبني كنيستي, ولا تقوى عليها ابواب جهنم.
16:19	وسأعطيك مفاتيح ملكوت السماوات. وكل ما ستربطه على الأرض سيكون مقيدًا, حتى في الجنة. وكل ما تطلقه على الأرض يطلق سراحه, حتى في الجنة. "
16:20	Then he instructed his disciples that they should tell no one that he is Jesus the Christ.
16:21	منذ ذلك الحين, Jesus began to reveal to his disciples that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem, and to suffer much from the elders and the scribes and the leaders of the priests, and to be killed, and to rise again on the third day.
16:22	وبيتر, أخذه جانبا, began to rebuke him, قول, "رب, may it be far from you; this shall not happen to you.”
16:23	And turning away, Jesus said to Peter: "احصل ورائي, الشيطان; you are an obstacle to me. For you are not behaving according to what is of God, but according to what is of men.”
