القراءة الأولى
كتاب النبي إشعياء 42: 1-4, 6-7
| 42:1 | هوذا عبدي, سوف أؤيده, منتخب بلدي, معه روحي سعيدة. لقد أرسلت روحي عليه. سيقدم الدينونة للأمم. |
| 42:2 | لن يصرخ, ولن يظهر محاباة لأحد; ولا يسمع صوته في الخارج. |
| 42:3 | القصبة المكدومة لن ينكسر, والفتيل المشتعل لن يطفئه. سيقود الدينونة الى الحقيقة. |
| 42:4 | لن يحزن أو ينزعج, حتى يقيم الدين على الارض. والجزر ستنتظر شريعته. |
| 42:6 | أنا, الرب, دعوتك بالعدالة, وأمسكت بيدك وحفظتك. وقد قدمتك عهدا للشعب, كنور للامم, |
| 42:7 | لكي تفتحوا عيون الأعمى, ويخرجون السجين من الحبس والجلوس في الظلام من بيت الحبس. |
القراءة الثانية
اعمال الرسل 10: 34-38
| 10:34 | ثم, نفذ, opening his mouth, قال: “I have concluded in truth that God is not a respecter of persons. |
| 10:35 | But within every nation, whoever fears him and works justice is acceptable to him. |
| 10:36 | God sent the Word to the sons of Israel, announcing the peace through Jesus Christ, for he is the Lord of all. |
| 10:37 | You know that the Word has been made known throughout all Judea. For beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached, |
| 10:38 | Jesus of Nazareth, whom God anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power, traveled around doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. For God was with him. |
الإنجيل
الإنجيل المقدس بحسب لوقا 1: 7-11
| 1:7 | And he preached, قول: “One stronger than me comes after me. I am not worthy to reach down and loosen the laces of his shoes. |
| 1:8 | I have baptized you with water. بعد حقا, he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” |
| 1:9 | وحدث ذلك, في هذه الأيام, Jesus arrived from Nazareth of Galilee. And he was baptized by John in the Jordan. |
| 1:10 | وعلى الفور, upon ascending from the water, he saw the heavens opened and the Spirit, مثل الحمامة, تنازلي, and remaining with him. |
| 1:11 | And there was a voice from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased. |
