منشأ 12: 1-4

12:1 Then the Lord said to Abram: “Depart from your land, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, and come into the land that I will show you.

12:2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and magnify your name, and you will be blessed.

12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

12:4 And so Abram departed just as the Lord had instructed him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

القراءة الثانية

Second Letter to Timothy 1:8-10

1:8 و حينئذ, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, his prisoner. بدلاً من, collaborate with the Gospel in accord with the virtue of God,

1:9 who has freed us and has called us to his holy vocation, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the ages of time.

1:10 And this has now been made manifest by the illumination of our Savior Jesus Christ, who certainly has destroyed death, and who has also illuminated life and incorruption through the Gospel.

الإنجيل

ماثيو 17: 1-9

17:1 وبعد ستة أيام, Jesus took Peter and James and his brother John, and he led them onto a lofty mountain separately.

17:2 And he was transfigured before them. And his face shined brightly like the sun. And his garments were made white like snow.

17:3 وها, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, speaking with him.

17:4 And Peter responded by saying to Jesus: "رب, من الجيد لنا أن نكون هنا. إذا كنت على استعداد, let us make three tabernacles here, واحدة لك, one for Moses, وواحد لإيليا ".

17:5 وبينما كان لا يزال يتحدث, ها, a shining cloud overshadowed them. وها, there was a voice from the cloud, قول: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. استمع اليه."

17:6 And the disciples, سماع هذا, fell prone on their face, and they were very afraid.

17:7 And Jesus drew near and touched them. فقال لهم, “Rise up and do not be afraid.”

17:8 And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.

17:9 ولما كانوا ينزلون من الجبل, أوصاهم يسوع, قول, "لا تخبر أحدا عن الرؤيا, إلى أن يقوم ابن الإنسان من الأموات».
