Ելք 1: 8-14, 22

1:8 միեւնույն ժամանակ, there arose a new king over Egypt, who was ignorant of Joseph.

1:9 And he said to his people: «Ահա, the people of the sons of Israel are many, and they are stronger than we are.

1:10 Արի՛, let us wisely oppress them, lest they multiply; and if any war should advance against us, they may be added to our enemies, and having fought against us, they might depart from the land.”

1:11 And so he set over them masters of the works, in order to afflict them with burdens. And they built for Pharaoh the cities of the tabernacles: Pithom and Raamses.

1:12 And the more they oppressed them, so much more did they multiply and increase.

1:13 And the Egyptians hated the sons of Israel, and they afflicted them and mocked them.

1:14 And they led their life directly into bitterness, with hard work in clay and brick, and with all kinds of servitude, so that they were being overwhelmed with the works of the land.

1:22 Հետեւաբար, Pharaoh instructed all his people, ասելով: “Whatever will be born of the male sex, cast it into the river; whatever will be born of the female sex, retain it.”

Սուրբ Ավետարան ըստ Մատթեոսի 10: 34-11: 1

10:34	Մի կարծեք, թե ես եկել եմ երկրի վրա խաղաղություն ուղարկելու. ես եկա, խաղաղություն չուղարկել, բայց սուրը.
10:35	Որովհետև ես եկա բաժանելու մարդուն իր հոր դեմ, իսկ դուստրն ընդդեմ մոր, եւ հարս՝ ընդդեմ սկեսուրի.
10:36	Եվ մարդու թշնամիները կլինեն իր տան անդամները.
10:37	Ով ինձնից շատ է սիրում հորը կամ մորը, ինձ արժանի չէ. Եվ ով ինձնից վեր է սիրում որդուն կամ աղջկան, արժանի չէ ինձ.
10:38	Եվ ով չի վերցնում իր խաչը, և հետևիր ինձ, արժանի չէ ինձ.
10:39	Ով գտնում է իր կյանքը, կկորցնի այն. Եվ ով որ կամենա, իր կյանքը կորցրել է իմ պատճառով, կգտնի այն.
10:40	Ով ընդունի քեզ, ընդունում է ինձ. Եվ ով ինձ ընդունում է, ընդունում է նրան, ով ինձ ուղարկեց.
10:41	Ով ընդունում է մարգարե, մարգարեի անունով, մարգարեի վարձը կստանա. Եվ ով ընդունում է արդարը արդարի անունով, նա կստանա արդարների վարձը.
10:42	Եվ նա, ով կտա, նույնիսկ դրանցից ամենափոքրից մեկին, մի բաժակ սառը ջուր խմելու համար, բացառապես աշակերտի անունով: Ամեն, ասում եմ ձեզ, նա իր վարձը չի կորցնի»։

11:1	Եվ այդպես եղավ, երբ Հիսուսն ավարտեց իր տասներկու աշակերտներին խրատելը, նա հեռացավ այնտեղից, որպեսզի ուսուցանի և քարոզի նրանց քաղաքներում.
