12:1 Then the Lord said to Abram: “Depart from your land, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, and come into the land that I will show you.
12:2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and magnify your name, and you will be blessed.
12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
12:4 And so Abram departed just as the Lord had instructed him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

17:1 And after six days, Jesus took Peter and James and his brother John, and he led them onto a lofty mountain separately.
17:2 And he was transfigured before them. And his face shined brightly like the sun. And his garments were made white like snow.
17:3 Եվ ահա, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, speaking with him.
17:4 And Peter responded by saying to Jesus: «Տեր, մեզ համար լավ է այստեղ լինելը. Եթե դու կամենաս, let us make three tabernacles here, մեկը քեզ համար, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
17:5 And while he was still speaking, ահա՛, a shining cloud overshadowed them. Եվ ահա, there was a voice from the cloud, ասելով: «Սա է իմ սիրելի Որդին, with whom I am well pleased. Լսե՛ք նրան»։
17:6 And the disciples, լսելով սա, fell prone on their face, and they were very afraid.
17:7 And Jesus drew near and touched them. Եվ նա ասաց նրանց, “Rise up and do not be afraid.”

17:9 And as they were descending from the mountain, Jesus instructed them, ասելով, “Tell no one about the vision, until the Son of man has risen from the dead.”
