वाचन

The Acts of the Apostles 5: 27-33

5:27	आणि जेव्हा त्यांनी त्यांना आणले होते, त्यांनी त्यांना परिषदेसमोर उभे केले. आणि मुख्य याजकाने त्यांना विचारले,
5:28	आणि म्हणाला: “आम्ही तुम्हाला या नावाने शिकवू नका असा सक्त आदेश देतो. पाहण्यासाठी, तू जेरुसलेम तुझ्या शिकवणीने भरून टाकलेस, आणि तुम्हाला या माणसाचे रक्त आमच्यावर आणायचे आहे.”
5:29	पण पेत्र आणि प्रेषितांनी उत्तर दिले: “देवाची आज्ञा पाळणे आवश्यक आहे, पुरुषांपेक्षा जास्त.
5:30	आमच्या पूर्वजांच्या देवाने येशूला उठवले आहे, ज्याला तुम्ही झाडावर टांगून ठार मारले.
5:31	तोच आहे ज्याला देवाने त्याच्या उजव्या हाताला शासक आणि तारणहार म्हणून उंच केले आहे, इस्राएलला पश्चात्ताप आणि पापांची क्षमा अर्पण करण्यासाठी म्हणून.
5:32	आणि या गोष्टींचे आपण साक्षीदार आहोत, पवित्र आत्म्याने, ज्याला देवाने त्याच्या आज्ञाधारक सर्वांना दिले आहे.”

जॉनच्या मते पवित्र गॉस्पेल 3: 31-36

3:31	He who comes from above, is above everything. He who is from below, is of the earth, and he speaks about the earth. He who comes from heaven is above everything.
3:32	And what he has seen and heard, about this he testifies. And no one accepts his testimony.
3:33	Whoever has accepted his testimony has certified that God is truthful.
3:34	For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God. For God does not give the Spirit by measure.
3:35	The Father loves the Son, and he has given everything into his hand.
3:36	Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But whoever is unbelieving toward the Son shall not see life; instead the wrath of God remains upon him.”
