Reading

Philippians 1: 1-11

1:1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons.

1:2 Grace and peace to you, خدا ہمارے باپ اور خداوند یسوع مسیح کی طرف سے.

1:3 میں اپنے اللہ کا شکر ادا کرتا ہوں۔, with every remembrance of you,

1:4 always, in all my prayers, making supplication for all of you with joy,

1:5 because of your communion in the Gospel of Christ, from the first day even until now.

1:6 I am confident of this very thing: that he who has begun this good work in you will perfect it, unto the day of Christ Jesus.

1:7 تو پھر, it is right for me to feel this way about all of you, because I hold you in my heart, and because, in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel, you all are partakers of my joy.

1:8 For God is my witness how, within the heart of Jesus Christ, I long for all of you.

1:9 And this I pray: that your charity may abound more and more, with knowledge and with all understanding,

1:10 so that you may be confirmed in what is better, in order that you may be sincere and without offense on the day of Christ:

1:11 filled with the fruit of justice, یسوع مسیح کے ذریعے, in the glory and praise of God.

Gospel

لیوک 14: 1-6

14:1 اور ایسا ہی ہوا۔, جب عیسیٰ سبت کے دن فریسیوں کے ایک رہنما کے گھر روٹی کھانے کے لیے داخل ہوا۔, وہ اسے دیکھ رہے تھے.

14:2 اور دیکھو, اس سے پہلے ایک خاص آدمی ورم میں مبتلا تھا۔.

14:3 اور جواب دے رہا ہے۔, یسوع نے شریعت کے ماہرین اور فریسیوں سے بات کی۔, کہہ رہا ہے, "کیا سبت کے دن علاج کرنا جائز ہے؟?"

14:4 لیکن وہ خاموش رہے۔. پھر بھی واقعی, اسے پکڑنا, اُس نے اُسے شفا دی اور روانہ کر دیا۔.
