Թոբիթ 3: 1- 11, 16- 17

3:1 Then Tobit sighed, and he began to pray with tears,

3:2 ասելով, "Օ Աստված, you are just and all your judgments are just, and all your ways are mercy, and truth, and judgment.

3:3 Իսկ հիմա, Ով Տեր, remember me, and do not take vengeance for my sins, and do not call to mind my offenses, nor those of my parents.

3:4 For we have not obeyed your precepts, and so we have been handed over to plundering and to captivity, and to death, and to mockery, and as a disgrace before all the nations, among which you have dispersed us.

3:5 Իսկ հիմա, Ով Տեր, great are your judgments. For we have not acted according to your precepts, and we have not walked sincerely before you.

3:6 Իսկ հիմա, Ով Տեր, do with me according to your will, and order my spirit to be received in peace. For it is more expedient for me to die, than to live.”

3:7 Եւ այսպես, on the same day, it happened that Sarah, the daughter of Raguel, in Rages, a city of the Medes, also heard a reproach from one of her father’s servant maids.

3:8 For she had been given to seven husbands, and a demon named Asmodeus had killed them, as soon as they had approached her.

3:9 Հետեւաբար, when she corrected the maid for her fault, she answered her, ասելով, “May we never see son or daughter from you upon the earth, you murderess of your husbands.

3:10 Would you also kill me, just as you have already killed seven husbands?” At these words, she proceeded to an upper room of her house. And for three days and three nights, she did not eat or drink.

3:11 Բայց, continuing in prayer with tears, she beseeched God, so that he would liberate her from this reproach.

3:16 You know, Ով Տեր, that I have never coveted a husband, and I have preserved my soul clean from all impure desire.

3:17 I have never mingled myself with those who play. And I have not presented myself as a participant with those who walk with levity.

Սուրբ Ավետարան ըստ Մարկոսի 12: 18-27

12:18	Եվ սադուկեցիները, ովքեր ասում են, որ հարություն չկա, մոտեցավ նրան. Եվ նրանք հարցրեցին նրան, ասելով:
12:19	"Ուսուցիչ, Մովսեսը մեզ համար գրեց, որ եթե որևէ մեկի եղբայրը մահանա և կին թողած լինի, և որդիներ չեն թողել, նրա եղբայրը թող վերցնի իր կնոջը և իր եղբոր համար սերունդ մեծացնի.
12:20	Ուրեմն, յոթ եղբայր կային. Եվ առաջինը կին առավ, և նա մահացավ՝ սերունդ չթողնելով.
12:21	Եվ երկրորդը վերցրեց նրան, և նա մահացավ. Եվ ոչ էլ սերունդ թողեց. Եվ երրորդը նույն կերպ վարվեց.
12:22	Եվ նույն կերպ, Յոթից յուրաքանչյուրն ընդունեց նրան և սերունդ չթողեց. Ամենից վերջինը, կինը նույնպես մահացել է.
12:23	Հետեւաբար, հարության մեջ, երբ նրանք նորից կբարձրանան, նրանցից ո՞ւմ համար նա կին կլինի? Որովհետև յոթը նրան կին ունեին»։
12:24	Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոնց՝ ըսելով: «Բայց չե՞ք մոլորվել, չիմանալով ոչ սուրբ գրությունները, ոչ էլ Աստծո զորությունը?
12:25	Որովհետև երբ նրանք հարություն կառնեն մեռելներից, նրանք չեն ամուսնանա, ոչ էլ ամուսնանալ, բայց նրանք նման են հրեշտակների երկնքում.
12:26	Բայց մեռելների մասին, ովքեր հարություն են առնում, Չե՞ք կարդացել Մովսեսի գրքում, ինչպես Աստված խոսեց նրա հետ մացառից, ասելով: «Ես Աբրահամի Աստվածն եմ, եւ Իսահակի Աստուածը, եւ Յակոբի Աստուածը?«
12:27	Նա մահացածների Աստված չէ, այլ ողջերի. Հետեւաբար, դուք հեռու եք մոլորվել»։
