The Second Letter of Saint Paul to Timothy     3: 10-17

3:10But you have fully comprehended my doctrine, instruction, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,
3:11persecutions, afflictions; such things as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra; how I endured persecutions, and how the Lord rescued me from everything.
3:12And all those who willingly live the piety in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
3:13But evil men and deceivers will advance in evil, erring and sending into error.
3:14Yet truly, you should remain in those things which you have learned and which have been entrusted to you. For you know from whom you have learned them.
3:15And, from your infancy, you have known the Sacred Scriptures, which are able to instruct you toward salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
3:16All Scripture, having been divinely inspired, is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in justice,
3:17so that the man of God may be perfect, having been trained for every good work.

The Holy Gospel According to Mark   12: 35-37

12:35And while teaching in the temple, Jesus said in answer: “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
12:36For David himself said in the Holy Spirit: ‘The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand, until I set your enemies as your footstool.’
12:37Therefore, David himself calls him Lord, and so how can he be his son?” And a great multitude listened to him willingly.
