முதல் வாசிப்பு

எரேமியா நபியின் புத்தகம் 23: 1-6

23:1	“என் மேய்ச்சலின் ஆடுகளைச் சிதறடித்து, கிழிக்கும் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு ஐயோ, என்கிறார் இறைவன்.
23:2	இதன் காரணமாக, இவ்வாறு இறைவன் கூறுகிறான், இஸ்ரவேலின் கடவுள், என் மக்களை மேய்க்கும் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு: என் மந்தையைச் சிதறடித்துவிட்டாய், நீ அவர்களை விரட்டி விட்டாய், நீங்கள் அவர்களைப் பார்க்கவில்லை. இதோ, உங்கள் தீய நாட்டம் காரணமாக நான் உங்களைச் சந்திப்பேன், என்கிறார் இறைவன்.

23:5	இதோ, நாட்கள் நெருங்கி வருகின்றன, என்கிறார் இறைவன், நான் தாவீதுக்கு ஒரு நீதியான கிளையை எழுப்புவேன். மேலும் ஒரு ராஜா ஆட்சி செய்வார், மேலும் அவர் ஞானமுள்ளவராக இருப்பார். அவர் பூமியில் நியாயத்தையும் நியாயத்தையும் நடத்துவார்.
23:6	அந்த நாட்களில், யூதா இரட்சிக்கப்படும், மேலும் இஸ்ரேல் நம்பிக்கையுடன் வாழும். மேலும் இந்த பெயரைத்தான் அவரை அழைப்பார்கள்: ‘இறைவன், எங்களுடைய ஒரே ஒருவன்.

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesian 2: 13-18

2:13	ஆனால் இப்போது, in Christ Jesus, நீ, who were in times past far away, have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
2:14	For he is our peace. He made the two into one, by dissolving the intermediate wall of separation, of opposition, by his flesh,
2:15	emptying the law of commandments by decree, so that he might join these two, in himself, into one new man, making peace
2:16	and reconciling both to God, in one body, through the cross, destroying this opposition in himself.
2:17	And upon arriving, he evangelized peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near.
2:18	For by him, we both have access, in the one Spirit, to the Father.

6:30	And the Apostles, returning to Jesus, reported to him everything that they had done and taught.
6:31	மேலும் அவர் அவர்களிடம் கூறினார், “Go out alone, into a deserted place, and rest for a little while.” For there were so many who were coming and going, that they did not even have time to eat.
