3:13	And no one has ascended to heaven, except the one who descended from heaven: the Son of man who is in heaven.
3:14	And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so also must the Son of man be lifted up,
3:15	so that whoever believes in him may not perish, ஆனால் நித்திய வாழ்வு இருக்கலாம்.
3:16	ஏனென்றால், கடவுள் தம்முடைய ஒரே பேறான குமாரனைக் கொடுக்கும் அளவுக்கு உலகத்தை நேசித்தார், அதனால் அவரை நம்புகிற அனைவரும் அழிவதில்லை, ஆனால் நித்திய வாழ்வு இருக்கலாம்.
3:17	ஏனெனில், கடவுள் தம்முடைய மகனை உலகிற்கு அனுப்பவில்லை, உலகத்தை தீர்ப்பதற்காக, ஆனால் அவர் மூலம் உலகம் இரட்சிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக.
