Reading

The Acts of the Apostles 4: 32-37

4:32	Då var mängden av troende av ett hjärta och en själ. Ingen sa heller att något av det han ägde var hans eget, men allt var gemensamt för dem.
4:33	Och med stor kraft, apostlarna vittnade om Jesu Kristi vår Herres uppståndelse. Och stor nåd fanns i dem alla.
4:34	Och ingen bland dem behövde inte heller. För lika många som var ägare till åkrar eller hus, säljer dessa, kom med intäkterna från de saker som de sålde,
4:35	och höll den framför apostlarnas fötter. Sedan delades det upp till var och en, precis som han behövde.
4:36	Nu Josef, som apostlarna döpte till Barnabas (som översätts som "tröstens son"), som var en levit av cypriansk härkomst,
4:37	sedan han hade land, han sålde den, och han kom med intäkterna och lade dem vid apostlarnas fötter.

Gospel

The Holy Gospel According to John 3: 7-15

3:7	You should not be amazed that I said to you: You must be born anew.
3:8	The Spirit inspires where he wills. And you hear his voice, but you do not know where he comes from, or where he is going. So it is with all who are born of the Spirit.”
3:9	Nicodemus responded and said to him, “How are these things able to be accomplished?”
3:10	Jesus svarade och sade till honom: “You are a teacher in Israel, and you are ignorant of these things?
3:11	Amen, amen, jag säger till dig, that we speak about what we know, and we testify about what we have seen. But you do not accept our testimony.
3:12	If I have spoken to you about earthly things, and you have not believed, then how will you believe, if I will speak to you about heavenly things?
3:13	And no one has ascended to heaven, except the one who descended from heaven: the Son of man who is in heaven.
3:14	And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so also must the Son of man be lifted up,
3:15	so that whoever believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.
