Handlingar 13: 44- 52

13:44	Ändå verkligen, på följande sabbat, nästan hela staden samlades för att höra Guds ord.
13:45	Sedan judarna, se folkmassorna, var fyllda av avund, och de, hädande, motsatte sig det som sades av Paulus.
13:46	Då sade Paulus och Barnabas bestämt: "Det var nödvändigt att först tala Guds ord till dig. Men för att du avvisar det, och så döm er själva ovärdiga till evigt liv, skåda, vi vänder oss till hedningarna.
13:47	Ty så har Herren instruerat oss: ’Jag har satt dig som ett ljus för hedningarna, så att du kan bringa frälsning till jordens ändar.””
13:48	Sedan hedningarna, när man hör detta, var glada, och de förhärligade Herrens ord. Och så många som trodde var förutbestämda till evigt liv.
13:49	Nu spreds Herrens ord i hela området.
13:50	Men judarna hetsade upp några hängivna och ärliga kvinnor, och stadens ledare. Och de väckte upp en förföljelse mot Paulus och Barnabas. Och de drev dem bort från sina delar.
13:51	Men de, skaka dammet från deras fötter mot dem, gick vidare till Iconium.
13:52	Lärjungarna var likaså fyllda av glädje och av den helige Ande.

John 14: 7- 14

14:7	If you had known me, certainly you would also have known my Father. And from now on, you shall know him, and you have seen him.”
14:8	Philip said to him, "Herre, reveal the Father to us, and it is enough for us.”
14:9	Jesus said to him: “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me? Philip, whoever sees me, also sees the Father. How can you say, ‘Reveal the Father to us?’
14:10	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I am speaking to you, I do not speak from myself. But the Father abiding in me, he does these works.
14:11	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
14:12	Or else, believe because of these same works. Amen, amen, jag säger till dig, whoever believes in me shall also do the works that I do. And greater things than these shall he do, for I go to the Father.
14:13	And whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14	If you shall ask anything of me in my name, that I will do.

The Acts of the Apostles 13: 26-33

13:26	Ädla bröder, söner av Abrahams stam, och de bland er som fruktar Gud, det är till dig Ordet om denna frälsning har sänts.

13:33	har uppfyllts av Gud för våra barn genom att uppväcka Jesus, precis som det också har skrivits i den andra psalmen: 'Du är min son. Denna dag har jag fött dig.'

The Holy Gospel According to John 14: 1-6

14:1	“Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe in me also.
14:2	In my Father’s house, there are many dwelling places. If there were not, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3	And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will return again, and then I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be.
14:4	And you know where I am going. And you know the way.”
14:5	Thomas said to him, "Herre, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

First Letter of Peter

5:5	Liknande, young persons, be subject to the elders. And infuse all humility among one another, for God resists the arrogant, but to the humble he gives grace.
5:6	Och så, be humbled under the powerful hand of God, so that he may exalt you in the time of visitation.
5:7	Cast all your cares upon him, for he takes care of you.
5:8	Be sober and vigilant. For your adversary, the devil, is like a roaring lion, traveling around and seeking those whom he might devour.
5:9	Resist him by being strong in faith, being aware that the same passions afflict those who are your brothers in the world.
5:10	But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself perfect, confirm, and establish us, after a brief time of suffering.

5:12	I have written briefly, through Sylvanus, whom I consider to be a faithful brother to you, begging and testifying that this is the true grace of God, in which you have been established.

Mark 16: 15 – 20

16:17 Now these signs will accompany those who believe. In my name, they shall cast out demons. They will speak in new languages.
