Handlingar 16: 22- 34

16:22	Och folket rusade tillsammans mot dem. Och domarna, sliter sönder sina tunikor, beordrade dem att bli slagna med stavar.
16:23	Och när de hade tillfogat dem många gissel, de kastade dem i fängelse, instruerar vakten att noggrant titta på dem.
16:24	Och eftersom han hade fått den här sortens order, han kastade in dem i den inre fängelsecellen, och han begränsade deras fötter med stockar.
16:25	Sedan, mitt i natten, Paulus och Silas bad och prisade Gud. Och de som också satt i häkte lyssnade på dem.
16:26	Ändå verkligen, det kom en plötslig jordbävning, så stor att grunden till fängelset flyttades. Och genast öppnades alla dörrar, och allas bindningar släpptes.
16:27	Sedan fångvaktaren, efter att ha varit vaken, och se dörrarna till fängelset öppnas, drog sitt svärd och hade för avsikt att ta livet av sig, antar att fångarna hade flytt.
16:28	Men Paulus ropade med hög röst, ordspråk: "Gör ingen skada mot dig själv, för vi är alla här!”
16:29	Sedan ropar efter ett ljus, han gick in. Och darrande, han föll framför Paulus och Silas fötter.
16:30	Och föra dem ut, han sa, "Herrar, vad måste jag göra, så att jag kan bli frälst?”
16:31	Så sa de, "Tro på Herren Jesus, och då blir du frälst, med ditt hushåll."
16:32	Och de talade Herrens ord till honom, tillsammans med alla som var i hans hus.
16:33	Och han, tar dem samma timme på natten, tvättade sina gissel. Och han blev döpt, och nästa hela hans hushåll.
16:34	Och när han hade fört dem in i sitt eget hus, han dukade ett bord åt dem. Och han var glad, med hela sitt hushåll, tro på Gud.

John 16: 5- 11

16:5	But I did not tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you. And now I am going to him who sent me. And no one among you has asked me, ‘Where are you going?’
16:6	But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
16:7	But I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I am going. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But when I will have gone away, I will send him to you.
16:8	And when he has arrived, he will argue against the world, about sin and about justice and about judgment:
16:9	about sin, verkligen, because they have not believed in me;
16:10	about justice, verkligt, because I am going to the Father, and you will not see me any longer;
16:11	about judgment, sedan, because the prince of this world has already been judged.

Handlingar 16: 11-15

16:11 Och seglar från Troas, tar en direkt väg, vi anlände till Samothrace, och påföljande dag, i Neapolis,

16:12 och därifrån till Filippi, som är den framstående staden i området Makedonien, en koloni. Nu var vi i den här staden några dagar, konfererar tillsammans.

16:13 Sedan, på sabbatsdagen, vi gick utanför porten, bredvid en flod, där det verkade vara en bönesamling. Och sitta ner, vi talade med kvinnorna som hade samlats.

16:14 Och en viss kvinna, som heter Lydia, en försäljare av lila i staden Tyatira, en gudsdyrkare, lyssnade. Och Herren öppnade hennes hjärta för att vara mottaglig för vad Paulus sa.

16:15 Och när hon hade blivit döpt, med sitt hushåll, vädjade hon till oss, ordspråk: "Om du har bedömt mig vara trogen Herren, gå in i mitt hus och bo där." Och hon övertygade oss.

John 15: 26-16: 4

15:26 But when the Advocate has arrived, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will offer testimony about me.

15:27 And you shall offer testimony, because you are with me from the beginning.”

16:1 “These things I have spoken to you, so that you would not stumble.

16:2 They will put you out of the synagogues. But the hour is coming when everyone who puts you to death will consider that he is offering an excellent service to God.

16:3 And they will do these things to you because they have not known the Father, nor me.

16:4 But these things I have spoken to you, så att, when the hour for these things will have arrived, you may remember that I told you.

Handlingar 10: 25- 26, 34- 35, 44- 48

10:25	Och det hände det, när Peter hade kommit in, Cornelius gick honom till mötes. Och faller framför hans fötter, han vördade.
10:26	Ändå verkligen, Peter, lyfter upp honom, sa: "Stig upp, ty jag är också bara en man."

First Letter of John 4: 7- 10

4:7	Most beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
4:8	Whoever does not love, does not know God. For God is love.
4:9	The love of God was made apparent to us in this way: that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
4:10	In this is love: not as if we had loved God, but that he first loved us, and so he sent his Son as a propitiation for our sins.

John 15: 9- 17

15:9	As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Abide in my love.
15:10	If you keep my precepts, you shall abide in my love, just as I also have kept my Father’s precepts and I abide in his love.
15:11	These things I have spoken to you, so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be fulfilled.
15:12	This is my precept: that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
15:13	No one has a greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.
15:14	You are my friends, if you do what I instruct you.
15:15	I will no longer call you servants, for the servant does not know what his Lord is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything whatsoever that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you.
15:16	You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. And I have appointed you, so that you may go forth and bear fruit, and so that your fruit may last. Then whatever you have asked of the Father in my name, he shall give to you.
15:17	This I command you: that you love one another.
