Handlingar 9: 26-31

9:26	Och när han hade kommit till Jerusalem, han försökte ansluta sig till lärjungarna. Och de var alla rädda för honom, utan att tro att han var en lärjunge.
9:27	Men Barnabas tog honom åt sidan och ledde honom till apostlarna. Och han förklarade för dem hur han hade sett Herren, och att han hade talat med honom, och hur, i Damaskus, han hade handlat troget i Jesu namn.
9:28	Och han var med dem, in och ut i Jerusalem, och handla troget i Herrens namn.
9:29	Han talade också med hedningarna och tvistade med grekerna. Men de försökte döda honom.
9:30	Och när bröderna hade insett detta, de förde honom till Caesarea och skickade honom till Tarsus.
9:31	Säkert, Kyrkan hade fred i hela Judéen och Galileen och Samaria, och det byggdes upp, medan han vandrade i Herrens fruktan, och den fylldes av den helige Andes tröst.

First Letter of John 3: 18-24

3:18	My little sons, let us not love in words only, but in works and in truth.

John 15: 1- 8

15:1	“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
15:2	Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, he will take away. And each one that does bear fruit, he will cleanse, so that it may bring forth more fruit.
15:3	You are clean now, because of the word that I have spoken to you.
15:4	Abide in me, and I in you. Just as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so also are you unable, unless you abide in me.
15:5	I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without me, you are able to do nothing.
15:6	If anyone does not abide in me, he will be cast away, like a branch, and he will wither, and they will gather him and cast him into the fire, and he burns.
15:7	If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, then you may ask for whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
15:8	In this, my Father is glorified: that you should bring forth very much fruit and become my disciples.

Handlingar 13: 44- 52

13:44	Ändå verkligen, på följande sabbat, nästan hela staden samlades för att höra Guds ord.
13:45	Sedan judarna, se folkmassorna, var fyllda av avund, och de, hädande, motsatte sig det som sades av Paulus.

13:49	Nu spreds Herrens ord i hela området.
13:50	Men judarna hetsade upp några hängivna och ärliga kvinnor, och stadens ledare. Och de väckte upp en förföljelse mot Paulus och Barnabas. Och de drev dem bort från sina delar.
13:51	Men de, skaka dammet från deras fötter mot dem, gick vidare till Iconium.
13:52	Lärjungarna var likaså fyllda av glädje och av den helige Ande.

John 14: 7- 14

14:7	If you had known me, certainly you would also have known my Father. And from now on, you shall know him, and you have seen him.”
14:8	Philip said to him, "Herre, reveal the Father to us, and it is enough for us.”
14:9	Jesus said to him: “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me? Philip, whoever sees me, also sees the Father. How can you say, ‘Reveal the Father to us?’
14:10	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I am speaking to you, I do not speak from myself. But the Father abiding in me, he does these works.
14:11	Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
14:12	Or else, believe because of these same works. Amen, amen, jag säger till dig, whoever believes in me shall also do the works that I do. And greater things than these shall he do, for I go to the Father.
14:13	And whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14	If you shall ask anything of me in my name, that I will do.

The Acts of the Apostles 13: 26-33

13:26	Ädla bröder, söner av Abrahams stam, och de bland er som fruktar Gud, det är till dig Ordet om denna frälsning har sänts.

The Holy Gospel According to John 14: 1-6

14:1	“Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe in me also.
14:2	In my Father’s house, there are many dwelling places. If there were not, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3	And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will return again, and then I will take you to myself, so that where I am, you also may be.
14:4	And you know where I am going. And you know the way.”
14:5	Thomas said to him, "Herre, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
