Reading

The Book of Revelation 15: 1-4

15:1	Och jag såg ett annat tecken i himlen, stor och underbar: sju änglar, hålla de sju sista lidanden. För med dem, Guds vrede är fullbordad.
15:2	Och jag såg något som ett hav av glas blandat med eld. Och de som hade besegrat vilddjuret och dess bild och numret på hans namn, stod på glashavet, håller i Guds harpor,
15:3	och sjunger Mose lovsång, Guds tjänare, och Lammets högljud, ordspråk: "Stora och underbara är dina verk, Herre Gud Allsmäktige. Rättvisa och sanna är dina sätt, Kung i alla åldrar.
15:4	Vem kommer inte att frukta dig, O Herre, och förstora ditt namn? För du ensam är välsignad. Ty alla folk skall närma sig och tillbe inför dina ögon, eftersom dina domar är uppenbara."

Gospel

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 21: 12-19

21:12	But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, handing you over to synagogues and into custody, dragging you before kings and governors, because of my name.
21:13	And this will be an opportunity for you to give testimony.
21:14	Därför, set this in your hearts: that you should not consider in advance how you might respond.
21:15	For I will give to you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries will not be able to resist or contradict.
21:16	And you will be handed over by your parents, and brothers, and relatives, and friends. And they will bring about the death of some of you.
21:17	And you will be hated by all because of my name.
21:18	Och ändå, not a hair of your head will perish.
21:19	By your patience, you shall possess your souls.
