Reading

The First Book of Kings 19: 19-21

19:19	Tāpēc, Elijah, setting out from there, found Elisha, the son of Shaphat, plowing with twelve yoke of oxen. And he himself was one of those who were plowing with the twelve yoke of oxen. And when Elijah had gone to him, he cast his mantle over him.
19:20	And immediately, leaving behind the oxen, he ran after Elijah. And he said, “I beg you to let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” And he said to him: “Go, and turn back. For what was mine to do, I have done concerning you.”
19:21	Tad, turning back from him, he took a pair of oxen, and he slew them. And he cooked the flesh with the plow of the oxen. And he gave it to the people, and they ate. And rising up, he went and followed Elijah, and he ministered to him.

5:33 Atkal, jūs esat dzirdējuši, ka tā teikts seniem cilvēkiem: ‘Tev nebūs nepatiesi zvērēt. Jo tev būs jāatmaksā Tam Kungam dotais zvērests. 5:34 Bet es tev saku, nemaz nedod zvērestu, ne no debesīm, jo tas ir Dieva tronis,

5:35 ne ar zemi, jo tas ir viņa kāju krēsls, ne arī Jeruzālemē, jo tā ir lielā ķēniņa pilsēta.

5:36 Nedrīkst zvērēt arī pie savas galvas, jo tu nespēj vienu matu padarīt baltu vai melnu.

5:37 Bet lai jūsu vārds “Jā” nozīmē “jā”.," un "Nē" nozīmē "nē". Jo viss, kas pārsniedz to, ir ļauns.
