First Letter of John 4: 7- 16

4:7 Paling dicintai, let us love one another. For love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

4:8 Whoever does not love, does not know God. For God is love.

4:9 The love of God was made apparent to us in this way: that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

4:10 In this is love: not as if we had loved God, but that he first loved us, and so he sent his Son as a propitiation for our sins.

4:11 Paling dicintai, jika Tuhan begitu mengasihi kita, kita juga harus saling mengasihi.

4:12 Tidak ada yang pernah melihat Tuhan. Tapi jika kita saling mencintai, Tuhan tinggal di dalam kita, dan kasih-Nya disempurnakan di dalam kita.

4:13 Lewat sini, kita tahu bahwa kita tinggal di dalam Dia, dan dia di dalam kita: karena dia telah memberi kita dari Roh-Nya.

4:14 Dan kami telah melihat, dan kami bersaksi, bahwa Bapa telah mengutus Putranya untuk menjadi Juruselamat dunia.

4:15 Siapa pun yang mengaku bahwa Yesus adalah Anak Allah, Tuhan tinggal di dalam dirinya, dan dia di dalam Tuhan.

4:16 Dan kita telah mengetahui dan percaya akan kasih yang Allah miliki bagi kita. Tuhan adalah cinta. Dan dia yang tinggal di dalam cinta, abides in God, dan Tuhan dalam dirinya.

Lukas 10: 38-42

10:38	Sekarang itu terjadi, while they were traveling, he entered into a certain town. Dan seorang wanita tertentu, named Martha, received him into her home.
10:39	And she had a sister, named Mary, WHO, while sitting beside the Lord’s feet, was listening to his word.
10:40	Now Martha was continually busying herself with serving. And she stood still and said: "Yang mulia, is it not a concern to you that my sister has left me to serve alone? Karena itu, speak to her, so that she may help me.”
10:41	And the Lord responded by saying to her: “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled over many things.
10:42	And yet only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the best portion, and it shall not be taken away from her.”
