Bacaan Pertama

 

Kisah Para Rasul 10: 25-26, 34-35, 44-48

10:25 Dan itu terjadi, when Peter had entered, Cornelius went to meet him. And falling before his feet, he reverenced.

10:26 Namun sungguh, Peter, lifting him up, dikatakan: "Bangkit, for I also am only a man.”

10:34 Kemudian, Peter, opening his mouth, dikatakan: “I have concluded in truth that God is not a respecter of persons.

10:35 But within every nation, whoever fears him and works justice is acceptable to him.

10:44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell over all of those who were listening to the Word.

10:45 And the faithful of the circumcision, who had arrived with Peter, were astonished that the grace of the Holy Spirit was also poured out upon the Gentiles.

10:46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and magnifying God.

10:47 Then Peter responded, “How could anyone prohibit water, so that those who have received the Holy Spirit would not be baptized, just as we also have been?”

10:48 And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then they begged him to remain with them for some days.

 

Bacaan Kedua

Surat Pertama Santo Yohanes 4: 7-10

4:7 Paling dicintai, let us love one another. For love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

4:8 Whoever does not love, does not know God. For God is love.

4:9 The love of God was made apparent to us in this way: that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

4:10 In this is love: not as if we had loved God, but that he first loved us, and so he sent his Son as a propitiation for our sins.

Injil Suci Menurut Yohanes 15: 9-17

15:9 Sebagaimana Bapa telah mengasihi saya, jadi aku telah mencintaimu. Bertahanlah dalam cintaku.

15:10 Jika Anda menjaga ajaran saya, kamu akan tinggal di dalam kasihku, sama seperti saya juga telah mematuhi ajaran Bapa saya dan saya tinggal di dalam kasihnya.

15:11 Hal-hal ini telah saya katakan kepada Anda, agar sukacitaku ada di dalam kamu, dan sukacitamu dapat terpenuhi.

15:12 Ini adalah ajaran saya: bahwa kalian saling mencintai, sama seperti aku telah mencintaimu.

15:13 Tidak ada yang memiliki cinta yang lebih besar dari ini: bahwa ia menyerahkan nyawanya untuk sahabat-sahabatnya.

15:14 Kamu adalah temanku, jika Anda melakukan apa yang saya perintahkan.

15:15 Aku tidak akan lagi memanggilmu hamba, karena hamba tidak mengetahui apa yang dilakukan oleh Tuhannya. Tapi aku memanggilmu teman, karena segala sesuatu yang telah saya dengar dari Bapa saya, Aku telah memberitahukan kepadamu.

15:16 Anda belum memilih saya, tapi aku telah memilihmu. Dan aku telah menunjukmu, supaya kamu maju dan berbuah, dan agar buahmu dapat bertahan lama. Kemudian apa pun yang Anda minta dari Bapa dalam nama saya, dia akan memberimu.

15:17 Ini aku perintahkan padamu: bahwa kalian saling mencintai.
