စာဖတ်ခြင်း။

The Letter of Saint James 2: 14-24, 26

2:14	My brothers, what benefit is there if someone claims to have faith, but he does not have works? How would faith be able to save him?
2:15	So if a brother or sister is naked and daily in need of food,
2:16	and if anyone of you were to say to them: “ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာသွားပါ။, keep warm and nourished,” and yet not give them the things that are necessary for the body, of what benefit is this?
2:17	Thus even faith, if it does not have works, is dead, in and of itself.
2:18	Now someone may say: “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works! But I will show you my faith by means of works.
2:19	You believe that there is one God. You do well. But the demons also believe, and they tremble greatly.
2:20	ဒါဆို, are you willing to understand, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
2:21	Was not our father Abraham justified by means of works, by offering his son Isaac upon the altar?
2:22	Do you see that faith was cooperating with his works, and that by means of works faith was brought to fulfillment?
2:23	And so the Scripture was fulfilled which says: “Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him unto justice.” And so he was called the friend of God.
2:24	Do you see that a man is justified by means of works, and not by faith alone?
2:26	For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

ဧဝံဂေလိတရား

မာကု အဆိုအရ သန့်ရှင်းသော ဧဝံဂေလိတရား 8: 34-39

8:34	တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ လူအစုအဝေးကို ခေါ်၍၊, မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊, “အကယ်၍ ငါ့နောက်သို့ လိုက်ရန် ရွေးချယ်လျှင်၊, သူ့ကိုယ်သူ ငြင်းပါစေ။, လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ကို ထမ်း၍၊, ငါ့နောက်သို့ လိုက်ကြလော့။.
8:35	အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အကြင်သူသည် မိမိအသက်ကို ကယ်တင်ခြင်းငှါ ရွေးကောက်တော်မူ၏။, ဆုံးရှုံးလိမ့်မယ်။. အကြင်သူသည် အသက်ဆုံးရှုံးလိမ့်မည်။, ငါ၏အကျိုးနှင့် ဧဝံဂေလိတရားအတွက်၊, ကယ်တင်မည်။.
8:36	လူကို ဘယ်လိုအကျိုးပြုတာလဲ။, တစ်လောကလုံး ချမ်းသာရင်၊, သို့သော်လည်း သူ၏စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်ကို ထိခိုက်စေ၏။?
8:37	သို့မဟုတ်, လူသည် မိမိအသက်ဝိညာဉ်ကို အဘယ်သို့ ပေးမည်နည်း။?
8:38	အကြင်သူသည် ငါနှင့် ငါ့စကားကြောင့် ရှက်တတ်၏။, ဖောက်ပြန်၍ အပြစ်ရှိသော ဤအမျိုးတွင်၊, လူသားသည်လည်း ထိုသူကို ရှက်လိမ့်မည်။, ခမည်းတော်၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊, သန့်ရှင်းသောကောင်းကင်တမန်များနှင့်အတူ။"
8:39	မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊, “အာမင် ငါမင်းကိုပြောမယ်။, ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော် တန်ခိုးအာဏာရောက်သည်တိုင်အောင် သေခြင်းတရားကို မမြည်းစမ်းဘဲ ဤနေရာတွင် ရပ်နေသူများတွင် အချို့သောသူများလည်း ရှိကြသည်” ဟု ဆိုသည်။
