တမန်တော်များ၏ တမန်တော်များ 12: 1-11

12:1	Now at the same time, king Herod extended his hand, in order to afflict some from the Church.
12:2	Then he killed James, the brother of John, with the sword.
12:3	And seeing that it pleased the Jews, he set out next to apprehend Peter also. Now it was the days of Unleavened Bread.
12:4	So when he had apprehended him, he sent him into prison, handing him over into the custody of four groups of four soldiers, intending to produce him to the people after the Passover.
12:5	And so Peter was detained in prison. But prayers were being made without ceasing, by the Church, to God on his behalf.
12:6	And when Herod was ready to produce him, in that same night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, and was bound with two chains. And there were guards in front of the door, guarding the prison.
12:7	ကြည့်ပါ။, an Angel of the Lord stood near, and a light shined forth in the cell. And tapping Peter on the side, he awakened him, ပြောနေသည်။, “ထလော့, quickly.” And the chains fell from his hands.
12:8	Then the Angel said to him: “Dress yourself, and put on your boots.” And he did so. ဟုဆိုလေ၏။, “Wrap your garment around yourself and follow me.”
12:9	ပြီးတော့ အပြင်ထွက်တယ်။, နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက်လေ၏။. And he did not know this truth: that this was being done by an Angel. For he thought that he was seeing a vision.
12:10	And passing by the first and second guards, they came to the iron gate which leads into the city; and it opened for them by itself. And departing, they continued on along a certain side street. And suddenly the Angel withdrew from him.
12:11	ပီ, returning to himself, ဟုဆိုသည်။: “Now I know, အမှန်တကယ်, that the Lord sent his Angel, and that he rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the people of the Jews were anticipating.”

The Second Letter of St. Paul to Timothy 4: 6-8, 17-18

4:6	အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည် ပင်ပန်းနွမ်းနယ်နေပြီ။, ငါပြိုကွဲချိန်နီးပြီ။.

4:17	ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ငါ​နှင့်​အ​တူ​ရပ်​၍ ငါ့​အား​အား​ပေး​တော်​မူ​၏။, ငါ့အားဖြင့် ဟောပြောခြင်း ပြည့်စုံမည်အကြောင်း၊, တပါးအမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့သည် ကြားစေခြင်းငှါ၊. ငါသည် ခြင်္သေ့ခံတွင်းမှ လွတ်၏။.

ဧဝံဂေလိတရား

မဿဲကျမ်းစာအရ သန့်ရှင်းသောဧဝံဂေလိတရား 16: 13-19

16:13	ထို့နောက် ယေရှုသည် ကဲသရိဖိလိပ္ပိ၏အရပ်ဒေသများသို့ ကြွတော်မူ၏။. တပည့်တော်တို့ကို မေးမြန်းတော်မူ၏။, ပြောနေသည်။, “လူသားသည် လူသားဖြစ်သည်ကို အဘယ်သူပြောသနည်း။?”
16:14	ဟုဆိုကြ၏။, “တချို့က ဗတ္တိဇံယောဟန်လို့ပြောကြတယ်။, အချို့က ဧလိယဟု ဆိုကြ၏။, အချို့က ယေရမိ သို့မဟုတ် ပရောဖက်တစ်ဦးဟု ဆိုကြသေးသည်။”
16:15	ယေရှုကလည်း၊, "ဒါပေမယ့် မင်းငါ့ကိုဘယ်သူလို့ပြောတာလဲ။?”
16:16	ရှိမုန်ပေတရုက ဤသို့တုံ့ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။, “သင်တို့သည် ခရစ်တော်ဖြစ်၏။, အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော်။”

16:18	ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊, သင်သည် ပေတရုဖြစ်၏။, ဤကျောက်ပေါ်မှာ ငါ့ဘုရားကျောင်းကို ငါတည်ဆောက်မည်။, မရဏာနိုင်ငံတံခါးတို့သည် မနိုင်ရာ.
16:19	ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်၏သော့တို့ကို ငါပေးမည်။. မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ ချည်နှောင်သမျှကို ချည်နှောင်လိမ့်မည်။, ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ပင်. မြေကြီးပေါ်၌ လွှတ်ထားသမျှသည် လွတ်လိမ့်မည်။, ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ပင်။”
