Ch 18 Luke

Luke 18

18:1 Îcar wî mesela wan jî got, ku em bi berdewamî dua bikin û nesekinin,
18:2 gotinên pêşîyan: “Li bajarekî hakimek hebû, ku ji Xwedê netirsiya û hurmeta mirovan negirt.
18:3 Lê jinebiyek li wî bajarî hebû, û ew çû ba wî, gotinên pêşîyan, 'Min ji dijminê min paqij bikin.'
18:4 Û wî ev yek ji bo demeke dirêj red kir. Lê paşê, di nava xwe de got: 'Her çend ez ji Xwedê natirsim, ne jî hurmetê dide mirov,
18:5 dîsa jî ji ber ku ev jinebiya min diêşîne, Ez ê wê rewa bikim, nebe ku bi vegerê, ew dikare, di dawîyê da, min xira bike.”
18:6 Hingê Xudan got: “Guh bidin hakimê neheq çi got.
18:7 Ji ber vê yekê, Xwedê heqê bijartiyên xwe nade, yên ku bi şev û roj jê re diqîrin? An jî ew ê li hember wan bidome?
18:8 Ez ji we re dibêjim ku ewê bi lez heqê wan bîne. Lêbelê bi rastî, gava ku Kurê Mirov vedigere, Ma hûn difikirin ku ewê li ser rûyê erdê baweriyê bibîne??”
18:9 Now about certain persons who consider themselves to be just, while disdaining others, he told also this parable:
18:10 “Two men ascended to the temple, in order to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
18:11 Standing, the Pharisee prayed within himself in this way: ‘O God, I give thanks to you that I am not like the rest of men: robbers, unjust, adulterers, even as this tax collector chooses to be.
18:12 I fast twice between Sabbaths. I give tithes from all that I possess.’
18:13 And the tax collector, standing at a distance, was not willing to even lift up his eyes to heaven. But he struck his chest, gotinên pêşîyan: ‘O God, li min were rehmê, a sinner.’
18:14 Ez ji te re dibêjim, this one descended to his house justified, but not the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled; and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
18:15 And they were bringing little children to him, so that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.
18:16 Lê Îsa, calling them together, got: “Allow the children to come to me, and do not be an obstacle to them. For of such is the kingdom of God.
18:17 Amîn, Ez ji te re dibêjim, whoever will not accept the kingdom of God like a child, will not enter into it.”
18:18 And a certain leader questioned him, gotinên pêşîyan: “Good teacher, what should I do to possess eternal life?”
18:19 Then Jesus said to him: “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
18:20 You know the commandments: You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not give false testimony. Honor your father and mother.”
18:21 Û wî got, “I have kept all these things from my youth.”
18:22 And when Jesus heard this, wî jê re got: “One thing is still lacking for you. Sell all the things that you have, and give to the poor. And then you will have treasure in heaven. And come, follow me.”
18:23 When he heard this, he became very sorrowful. For he was very rich.
18:24 Paşê Îsa, seeing him brought to sorrow, got: “How difficult it is for those who have money to enter into the kingdom of God!
18:25 For it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a wealthy man to enter into the kingdom of God.”
18:26 And those who were listening to this said, “Then who is able to be saved?”
18:27 Wî ji wan re got, “Things that are impossible with men are possible with God.”
18:28 And Peter said, “Va ye, we have left everything, and we have followed you.”
18:29 Û wî ji wan re got: “Amîn, Ez ji te re dibêjim, there is no one who has left behind home, or parents, or brothers, or a wife, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
18:30 who will not receive much more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life.”
18:31 Then Jesus took the twelve aside, û wî ji wan re got: “Va ye, we are ascending to Jerusalem, and everything shall be completed which was written by the prophets about the Son of man.
18:32 For he will be handed over to the Gentiles, and he will be mocked and scourged and spit upon.
18:33 And after they have scourged him, they will kill him. And on the third day, he will rise again.”
18:34 But they understood none of these things. For this word was concealed from them, and they did not understand the things that were said.
18:35 Niha wisa bûye, gava ew nêzîkî Erîhayê dibû, yekî kor li tenişta rê rûniştibû, parsek.
18:36 Û gava ku wî bihîst ku elaletê derbas dibû, wî pirsî ev çi ye.
18:37 Û wan jê re got ku Îsayê Nisretî derbas dibe.
18:38 Û ew qîriya, gotinên pêşîyan, “Îsa, Kurê Dawid, rehmê li min bike!”
18:39 Û yên ku di wê derê re derbas dibûn lê hilat, da ku ew bêdeng bimîne. Lêbelê bi rastî, ew bêtir qêriya, “Kurê Dawid, rehmê li min bike!”
18:40 Paşê Îsa, sekinî, emir da ku wî bînin ba wî. Û gava ku ew nêzîk bû, wî jê pirsî,
18:41 gotinên pêşîyan, "Tu çi dixwazî, ku ez ji we re bikim?” Ji ber vê yekê wî got, "Mirze, da ku ez bibînim."
18:42 Û Îsa jê re got: “Li dora xwe binêre. Baweriya te tu xilas kir.”
18:43 Û di cih de wî dît. Û li pey wî çû, mezinkirina Xwedê. Û hemû gel, gava wan ev dît, pesnê Xwedê da.
