Ukufunda

 

11:1 Ke kaloku, abapostile nabazalwana ababekwelakwaYuda beva ukuba nazo iintlanga zilamkele ilizwi likaThixo.

 

11:2 Emva koko, xa uPetros wenyukayo waya eYerusalem, Babambana ngaye abolwaluko,

 

11:3 esithi, Yini na ukuba ungene kumadoda angalukanga?, kwakutheni ukuze utye nabo?”

 

11:4 Waqala ke uPetros ukubacacisela, ngocwangco, esithi:

 

11:5 “Ndandikwisixeko saseYopa ndithandaza, kwaye ndabona, kulonwabo lwengqondo, umbono: isitya esithile sisihla, njengelinen enkulu yelinen, ithotywa ezulwini ngamasondo ayo omane. Yasondela ke kum.

 

11:6 Kwaye ujonge kuyo, Ndaqiqa, ndawabona amarhamncwa omhlaba aneenyawo ezine, namarhamncwa, nezirhubuluzi, neentaka zezulu.

 

11:7 Ndiye ndeva nelizwi lisithi kum: 'Vuka, UPetros. Bulala utye.’

 

11:8 Kodwa ndathi: ‘Nakanye, nkosi! Kuba into eyinqambi, nokuba yengcolileyo, ayizanga ingene emlonyeni wam.

 

11:9 Laphinda laphendula ilizwi okwesibini liphuma ezulwini, ‘Oko uThixo akuhlambululeyo, uze ungathi uyinqambi.

 

11:10 Ngoku oku kwenziwa izihlandlo ezithathu. Kwaza kwabuya yonke into yanyuswa yasiwa ezulwini.

 

11:11 Kwaye khangela, kwaoko amadoda amathathu emi ngakuloo ndlu ndandikuyo, zithunyelwe kum zivela eKesareya.

 

11:12 Wathi ke uMoya kum, ndihambe nawo, engathandabuzi nto. Bahamba nam naba bazalwana bathandathu. Sangena ke endlini yalomntu.

 

11:13 Wasichazela indlela awasibona ngayo isithunywa sezulu endlwini yakhe, bemi bathi kuye: ‘Thumela eYopa, ubize uSimon, ogama limbi linguPetros.

 

11:14 Wothetha kuni amazwi, oya kusindiswa ngayo nendlu yakho iphela.

 

11:15 Ndithe xa ndiqala ukuthetha, uMoya oyiNgcwele wabawela, njengokuba naphezu kwethu, ekuqaleni.

 

11:16 Ndawakhumbula ke amazwi kaYehova, kanye njengoko watshoyo ngokwakhe: ‘UYohane, kanjalo, babhaptizwe ngamanzi, kodwa niya kubhaptizwa ngoMoya oyiNgcwele.

 

11:17 Ngoko ke, ukuba uThixo ubenzele kwangolo ubabalo, njengokuba nakuthi, abakholwayo kwiNkosi uYesu Kristu, bendingubani, ukuba ndiya kuba nako ukwalela uThixo?”

 

11:18 akuba ezivile ezi zinto, bathi cwaka. Bamzukisa ke uThixo, esithi: “Ngokukwanjalo ke uThixo uzinike neentlanga ukuguqukela ebomini.”

IVangeli Engcwele ngokukaYohane 10: 11-18

10:11 I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd gives his life for his sheep.

10:12 But the hired hand, and whoever is not a shepherd, to whom the sheep do not belong, he sees the wolf approaching, and he departs from the sheep and flees. And the wolf ravages and scatters the sheep.

10:13 And the hired hand flees, because he is a hired hand and there is no concern for the sheep within him.

10:14 I am the good Shepherd, and I know my own, and my own know me,

10:15 just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for my sheep.

10:16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold, and I must lead them. They shall hear my voice, and there shall be one sheepfold and one shepherd.

10:17 Ngesi sizathu, the Father loves me: because I lay down my life, so that I may take it up again.

10:18 No one takes it away from me. Kunoko, I lay it down of my own accord. And I have the power to lay it down. And I have the power to take it up again. This is the commandment that I have received from my Father.”
