Ukufunda

First Letter of John 4: 7- 16

4:7 Zintanda kakhulu, masithandane. Kuba uthando lwaphuma kuThixo. Bonke abanothando bazelwe nguThixo, bayamazi uThixo.

4:8 Nabani na ongathandiyo, akamazi uThixo. Kuba uThixo uluthando.

4:9 Kwabonakaliswa kuthi ukumthanda uThixo: ukuba uThixo wathumela uNyana wakhe okuphela kwamzeleyo ehlabathini, ukuze sidle ubomi ngaye.

4:10 Kule nto kukho uthando: kungengakuba besimthandayo uThixo, ke wathi yena wasithanda kuqala, waza ngokunjalo wamthumela uNyana wakhe ukuba abe sisicamagushelo sezono zethu.

4:11 Zintanda kakhulu, ukuba wenjenjalo uThixo ukusithanda, nathi sifanele ukuba sithandane.

4:12 Akukho namnye wakha wambona uThixo;. Kodwa ukuba siyathandana, UThixo uhleli kuthi, yaye uthando lwakhe lugqibelele kuthi.

4:13 Ngele ndlela, siyazi ukuba sihleli kuye, naye ungaphakathi kwethu: ngokuba usinike yena ngoMoya wakhe.

4:14 Kwaye sibonile, kwaye siyangqina, ukuba uYise wamthuma uNyana wakhe ukuba abe nguMsindisi wehlabathi.

4:15 Nabani na othe wavuma ukuba uYesu unguye uNyana kaThixo, UThixo uhleli kuye, kwaye yena kuThixo.

4:16 Thina siyalwazi, sakholwa uthando lukaThixo analo ngathi. uthixo Luthando. Kwaye lowo uhlala eluthandweni, uhleli kuThixo, noThixo kuye.

ULuka 10: 38-42

10:38	Ngoku kwenzekile oko, while they were traveling, he entered into a certain town. Kwaye umfazi othile, named Martha, received him into her home.
10:39	And she had a sister, named Mary, I-WHO, while sitting beside the Lord’s feet, was listening to his word.
10:40	Now Martha was continually busying herself with serving. And she stood still and said: “Nkosi, is it not a concern to you that my sister has left me to serve alone? Ngoko ke, speak to her, so that she may help me.”
10:41	And the Lord responded by saying to her: “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled over many things.
10:42	And yet only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the best portion, and it shall not be taken away from her.”
