3:2 | Bilie, jerue Ninive, nnukwu obodo. Na-ekwusakwanụ ozi ọma nke m na-agwa unu n’ime ya. |
3:3 | Jona we bilie, o we jerue Ninive dika okwu Jehova si di. Ma Ninive bu obodo uku nke ije ubọchi atọ. |
3:4 | Jona wee malite ịbanye n'obodo ahụ njem otu ụbọchị. O we tie nkpu, si, “Ụbọchị iri anọ ọzọ, a ga-ebibi Ninive.” |
3:5 | Ndikom Nineve we kwere na Chineke. Ha we kpọsa obubu-ọnu, ha we yikwasi ákwà-nkpe, site n’onye kasị ukwuu ruo n’onye kasị nta. |
3:6 | Okwu we rue eze Ninive nti. O we si n'oche-eze-ya bilie, o we yipu uwe-nwuda-ya n'aru-ya, yiri ákwà-nkpe, o we nọdu na ntu. |
3:7 | O we tie nkpu, kwue okwu: “Na Ninive, site n'ọnu eze na ndi-isi-ya, ka e kwuo ya: Mmadụ na anụ ọhịa na ehi na atụrụ agaghị edetụ ihe ọ bụla ire. Ha agaghi-eri kwa nri, ha agaghi-aṅu kwa miri. |
3:8 | Ka e were kwa ákwà-nkpe kpuchie madu na anumanu, ka ha were kwa ike tikue Onye-nwe, ka madu si kwa n'uzọ ọjọ ya chigharia, site kwa n'ajọ omume nke di n'aka-ha. |
3:9 | Ònye ma ma Chineke ọ ga-atụgharị ma gbaghara, O we si n'ọnuma-Ya chigharia, ka ayi we ghara ila n'iyì?” |
3:10 | Chineke we hu ọlu-ha, na ha esiwo n'uzọ ọjọ ha chigharia. Chineke wee meere ha ebere, gbasara ajọ omume nke o kwuru na ya ga-eme ha, ma o meghi ya. |

7:29 | Ya mere, this is what I say, umunne: The time is short. What remains of it is such that: those who have wives should be as if they had none; |
7:30 | and those who weep, as though they were not weeping; and those who rejoice, as if they were not rejoicing; and those who buy, as if they possessed nothing; |
7:31 | and those who use the things of this world, as if they were not using them. For the figure of this world is passing away. |
