10:26 Kodwa ngokwenene, UPetros, emphakamisa, watsho: "Vuka, kuba nam ndingumntu nje.

10:34 Emva koko, UPetros, evula umlomo, watsho: “Enyanisweni ndiye ndagqiba kwelokuba uThixo akamkhethi wabuso bamntu.

10:35 Kodwa kuzo zonke iintlanga, lowo umoyikayo, asebenze ubulungisa, wamkelekile kuye.

10:44 Uthe esawathetha uPetros la mazwi, uMoya oyiNgcwele waba phezu kwabo bonke abo babephulaphule iLizwi.

10:45 Nabathembekileyo bolwaluko, owafika noPetros, zakhwankqiswa kukuba nobabalo loMoya oyiNgcwele luthululelwe phezu kweentlanga.

10:46 kuba aziva zithetha ngalwimi zimbi, zimenza mkhulu uThixo.

10:47 Waza waphendula uPetros, “Umntu angawalela njani amanzi, ukuze bangabhaptizwa abo bamamkeleyo uMoya oyiNgcwele, njengokuba sekunjalo nathi?”

10:48 Wathi mababhaptizwe egameni leNkosi uYesu Kristu. Baza bambongoza ukuba akhe ahlale nabo iintsuku ezithile.

The First Letter of Saint John 4: 7-10

4:7 Zintanda kakhulu, masithandane. Kuba uthando lwaphuma kuThixo. Bonke abanothando bazelwe nguThixo, bayamazi uThixo.

4:8 Nabani na ongathandiyo, akamazi uThixo. Kuba uThixo uluthando.

4:9 Kwabonakaliswa kuthi ukumthanda uThixo: ukuba uThixo wathumela uNyana wakhe okuphela kwamzeleyo ehlabathini, ukuze sidle ubomi ngaye.

4:10 Kule nto kukho uthando: kungengakuba besimthandayo uThixo, ke wathi yena wasithanda kuqala, waza ngokunjalo wamthumela uNyana wakhe ukuba abe sisicamagushelo sezono zethu.

IVangeli Engcwele ngokukaYohane 15: 9-17

15:9 As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Abide in my love.

15:10 If you keep my precepts, you shall abide in my love, just as I also have kept my Father’s precepts and I abide in his love.

15:11 These things I have spoken to you, so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be fulfilled.

15:12 This is my precept: that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

15:13 No one has a greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.

15:14 You are my friends, if you do what I instruct you.

15:15 I will no longer call you servants, for the servant does not know what his Lord is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything whatsoever that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you.

15:16 You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. And I have appointed you, so that you may go forth and bear fruit, and so that your fruit may last. Then whatever you have asked of the Father in my name, he shall give to you.

15:17 This I command you: that you love one another.
