Naye alipokwisha kuweka kando mavazi yake ya kifalme, akachukua mavazi yafaayo kwa kulia na kuomboleza, na badala ya marhamu mbalimbali, alifunika kichwa chake na majivu ya kinyesi kilichochomwa, na akaunyenyekeza mwili wake kwa kufunga, na nyanja zote za uzuri wake, alijifunika nywele zake zilizochanika. |

Naye akamwomba Bwana, Mungu wa Israeli, akisema, "Bwana wangu, ambaye peke yake ndiye Mfalme wetu, nisaidie, mwanamke peke yake, maana hakuna msaidizi mwingine ila wewe. |

Hatari yangu iko karibu. |

Nimesikia kutoka kwa baba yangu kwamba wewe, Bwana, alichagua Israeli kutoka kati ya mataifa yote na baba zetu kutoka miongoni mwa babu zao wote wa kwanza, kuwamiliki kama urithi wa milele, nawe umewafanyia kama ulivyosema. |
